Chapter 76 

Caroline pulled her hand back and stuffed her son’s hand into his. “This is your son’s hand.” 

“Oh!” 

Quintin held onto his son’s small hand, feeling the overwhelming sense of having something precious restored to him. 

If anything happened to his son, he would definitely blame himself to death. 

If he could not even protect his only son, how could he be considered a good father? 

If Macy came back, how would he explain it to her? 

After a while. Quintin said. “Thank you for saving Leo tonight.” 

For the first time, he spoke words of heartfelt gratitude to her. 

He thanked her for discovering the fire tonight and for promptly saving his son. 

“There’s nothing.” 

Indeed, it was her own son that she had saved. It was only natural for a mother to rescue her own child. 

“By the way, how did you discover the fire?”

“Leo is fine now,” Quintin replied. “Don’t tell my grandmother about this for the time being.” 

“Understood. I didn’t dare to tell her.” 

“Michael, go back first. I still need you to settle the family matters! Also, call the police and let them investigate the cause of the fire!” Quintin instructed.

Michael left the ward first.

“Thank you!” Caroline thanked him.
