For Calvin, she no longer desired any involvement, not even for a moment.
Calvin’s expression instantly darkened, thinking. “Now, she’s ready for a divorce at any moment, and even now, she’s laying out the conditions for it.”
Natalie provocatively locked eyes with him.

Yelle, on the other hand, was startled when she saw Natalie.
It was approaching midnight, and she clearly hadn’t expected Natalie to visit at this hour. After a moment of irritation, she composed herself, maintaining an indifferent expression that concealed any trace of hatred in her eyes.
Right in front of Natalie, she calmly reached for the white cloth placed on the cabinet and tied it over her eyes.
“You…” Natalie wanted to say something but found herself at a loss for words, her l*ps quivering.

She sought protection like a frightened kitten, and anyone witnessing her vulnerability would find it hard not to feel pity.
Natalie stood frozen, feeling as though she had been struck by lightning. Her heart tightened, especially when she saw Yvette curl up in Calvin’s embrace.
Calvin turned around and bellowed, “Quick, go find a doctor!”
His anger was tinged with urgency.
Natalie, too, snapped back to reality at this moment, her thoughts in turmoil. She stood there, unable to react or move in
any way.
She had harbored suspicions about Yvette before, but actually witnessing it sent a chill through her heart.
Thinking that someone might be plotting against her was one thing, but facing the harsh reality was an entirely different

She took a deep breath.
Calvin, observing her lack of movement, gave her a cold look. “Natalie!”
His words were almost through clenched teeth.
“Calvin, you’re truly blind, utterly blind!” Natalie exclaimed.
Indeed, he was truly blind.
