Chapter 8: Luna Meets Princess Alesia (Part 2)

When I entered the boys' restroom/locker room, there were still boys inside. And not to mention some of them are naked, but I don't care because I am not being awkward. I’ve seen a lot worse than that. Oh, forget it. I just don’t care. I almost laughed out loud because of their shocked reaction and quickly got dressed.

"Boys, all of you get out because I will clean this dirty restroom," I said while raising an eyebrow. They quickly left while mumbling something. I laughed while shaking my head.

I put a sign on the door outside with an 'out of order’ sign. Then I locked the door so that no one would disturb me while doing my thing in this huge restroom. I put a barrier on the whole restroom first because I don't want someone to see what I will do. Then I started cleaning the whole restroom using my special powers. I quickly ordered the brooms and other tools for cleaning to clean the entire dirty restroom, and its movements sped up as I ordered them. After 10 minutes, it’s all done and the floor shines without a trace of dust and dirt. I smiled when I felt satisfied with the outcome and all the cleaning tools returned to their specific storage. Then I removed the barrier and opened the door while grinning. Headmaster didn’t say we couldn’t use magic, so cleaning a big restroom is not a big deal at all.

When I opened the door, it surprised me when someone fell over. The person would have knocked me down, but because of my quick reflexes, I could block the ice from me, so that person slipped on the ice face flat. Pft.

What is he doing at the door, anyway?

I removed the ice and my eyes widened slightly when I saw a lot of boys outside. They laughed because of the boy who slid into the ice.

I saw Zenon frown as he looked at me.

"What are you doing there, Luna?" he asked, with authority in his voice and a creased forehead.

"What do you think?" I said, in a bored tone while rolling my eyes. I walked away and left them there dumbfounded. Zenon was mumbling something, but I don’t care about his opinion right now. I haven’t walked that far when I hear a surprise reaction from the boys. Well, who wouldn't be surprised if it was not that clean when they left?

I continued walking and went straight to the girls' restroom. There is also an 'out of order’ sign. I knew Venice was still inside, so I went in without knocking and locked the door.

"What the hell! Didn't you read the sign at the—Luna? What are you doing here?" I looked at Venice and she was sweating profusely as she rubbed the toilet bowl using some cleaning tools.

"I'm here to help you," I said while smiling cheekily.

"No. Are you done with your punishment?" I nodded and her jaw dropped while looking at me unbelievably.

"Are you kidding me? It's only been about 10 minutes since we parted ways. And I haven't been halfway through cleaning yet and you're done?! Is this a joke?" she said and rolled her eyes.

"I swear I'm already done!"

I quickly put a barrier in the entire restroom like what I did earlier in the boys' restroom so that no one would bother and no one would see what I was going to do. I waved my hand and started controlling the tools for cleaning, and they moved on their own just what I ordered them to do. Just like I did earlier.

Venice’s jaw dropped in awe and looked amazed, which made me smile.

"How did you do that?!" she said. Oh well, all she knew is that I was an Ice manipulator. I didn't tell anyone I possess a lot of special powers.

"Ahm, Venice, this will be our secret, okay? Tell no one about this because I don't want anyone to know. It’s... hmm, my special powers." I said. She looked at me intently, and after a while, she nodded and sighed.

When I looked around, the whole restroom was glistening with cleanliness and the cleaning tools returned to the storage cabinet for cleaning supplies obediently.

"Thank you, Luna. You're my savior!" she said and hugged me while screaming with glee. I chuckled.

"It's nothing. Let's go?" she nodded and tidied her uniform. Her uniform was messy and a little dirty, so I did not hesitate to use my powers on her. And in an instant, she was in good shape and no longer looked haggard.

"Woah! This is amazing! Your special power is amazing!" I just smiled at her.

I removed the barrier, and we went out of the restroom. Fortunately, no girls were waiting outside, unlike the boys earlier.

The two of us were awfully quiet while walking. I guess she still can’t believe that we were done with our punishment for today.

We stopped walking when we heard from the students that someone from Drazona Land had entered the academy and had killed two students. According to Venice, the magic users of Drazona Land are the mortal enemies of Enchantreia Kingdom. They also use forbidden black magic. I don’t know the reason for their dispute, but I will find out soon.

Venice and I went to the place near the plaza where the two student bodies were found. The place was crowded, so Venice and I huddled until we got to the center and saw the bodies. Surprisingly, the victims are from the average section. I walked towards the bodies to look closely.

"Wait! Luna, what are you doing?" Venice stopped me.

"I just want to have a look at the victims’ bodies," I said. Venice no longer stopped me and I went to the victim's bodies to check their pulses. I felt Venice follow me.

"What is the girl doing?"

"Isn't she Luna?"

I ignore the voices of the crowd and do what I wanted before everything’s too late. And my suspicion is correct after I felt the victims’ faint pulses. They are not dead yet, and I noticed something on the neck of the two victims. "They're not dead yet." I blurted out.

"Huh?" Venice looked puzzled.

"Luna!" I saw Ereia and her friends approaching us, and Princess Alesia was staring at me.

"What are you doing?!" Zenon asked skeptically.

"What do you think?" I said, rolling my eyes. Isn't it obvious? Tsk. Sometimes Zenon gets on my nerves and I don’t know why. They were all stunned at my answer to Zenon. I let out a sigh.

"They are not dead yet, but they might die if we do not take action immediately," I said.

"What do you mean?" they said in unison while creasing their foreheads in confusion and looking at the bodies. Princess Alesia walks closer to me. She was about to touch the victims’ bodies when I stopped her.

"Don't." she looked at me with a stunned expression.

"Why can’t I?" she asked.

"You can't touch them. Because they might not be able to return to their bodies. They are under an illusion right now." I said matter-of-factly.

“What?!” Everyone reacted.

"If they are not dead yet, what is the way to get rid of that illusion?" Zaphe said, so everyone turned to him. And everyone looked horrified, like they just realized something.

"Then the previous victims are not dead yet?" Nicole blurted out, dumbfounded. So, were there other victims before?

"But how did the Drazonians get in again? Hasn't the academy barrier gotten strengthened yet?" Leemin said, skeptically.

"That only means one thing. There is a traitor in the academy," Claudette said.

My brows furrowed together when they looked at me skeptically, like I’m a criminal. Well, except for Ereia, Venice, and… Alesia glared at their friends.

"What's with that look?" I asked them with a grim expression.

I know they doubted me from the very beginning. Well, I can't blame them because I'm mysterious to them. Only Ereia and her family know who I am. But I guess it’s time to tell them the truth about me.

I let out a deep sigh. I just wasn't expecting them to doubt me.
