Chapter 31: Comeback Part 2

A moment later, they landed in front of a lone tree. And the twins looked at each other when they saw two lights shining inside the tree. They thought there was only one stone, but turns out there were two.

However, the stones are the heart of the tree.

They flew upward until they reached the center of the tree where the stones were located, shining brightly, and called out to them.

“Will the tree wither if we take the stones?” Leena blurted out.

“Possibly. It’s the heart of the tree, after all.” Luna muttered and narrowed her eyes while thinking about how to get the stones since it was buried deep in the center of the tree.

Upon pondering for a moment, they come up with a brilliant idea. They both touched the tree at the same time and released some magic. Suddenly, a white and black stone appeared in front of them. Luna was mesmerized when the crystal clear stone shone brightly at her, who seemed waiting for her to take it. Whereas, in front of Leena is a dark stone that releases a dark aura and keeps calling her to take it.

Both opened their palms, and without warning, the stones floated in their palms. Then a huge magic circle appeared throughout the eternal place. The twins covered their eyes as the stones released a bright light and the twins gradually felt excruciating pain in their entire system.

Shock and amazement registered on the faces of the Queen, Aira, and Isagani when they saw the two princesses lying on the bed, suddenly shining brightly upon being struck with lightning. All the stones were restless, and they spun around in a swift movement. Their eyes widened when the red and blue stone suddenly entered the palm of Leena while the white and brown stone also entered the palm of Luna.

"What's going on?" Queen Lumeena gasped as she looked at the twins. Her heart beats faster.

Suddenly, the twins’ bodies float in the air while shining brightly, causing them to cover their eyes as they were almost blinded by the light.

When the light subsided, two beauties were now standing in front of them.

"Mama!" the twins uttered, smiling brightly while looking at their mother.

Queen Lumeena gasped and her eyes watered when she saw her two princesses smiling in front of her and calling her 'Mama'. She felt ecstatic and grateful. She hugged her twins tightly with longingness while sobbing.

Meanwhile, Aira and Isagani were stunned, looking at the two beautiful princesses with wings. When they were sleeping, they looked like an innocent angel. However, when they’re awake, they look like a goddess and ooze with charm. Their unique aura intimidates them and they remain rooted to their spot with their mouths hanging in awe.

When the mother and daughters pulled apart, the twin’s expression suddenly became serious.

"Mama, I know you miss us so much, and so do we. But we need to go now and save everyone." Leena said. Queen Lumeena smile and nodded in understanding.

"Promise me you will be safe and come back to me no matter what happens." Queen Lumeena cried and hugged the twins again.

After the hugging session, the twins turned their gaze to the two people in the room as they stared blankly at them. Luna and Leena smiled at Princess Aira and Prince Isagani, who were gawking at them.

"Hi! Thank you for your help. After this chaos, we will reward you." Leena said while smiling. Aira and Isagani were surprised and failed to utter a word.

"We saw what happened, so don't be surprised," Luna said and smiled.

The two just smiled as a response, still dumbfounded and mesmerized like they were under a spell.

Luna and Leena just chuckled at their reaction. They wasted no time and flew away towards the chaos.

Joaquin and Bryle saw two creatures with white wings and black wings fly upward.

Goddesses in their true form. Their unique aura was overflowing and shining brightly, causing the monsters to groan in pain. However, all the monsters halted and looked at the twins like they were under a spell.

Being charmed by their appearance, Luna uses her light to kill the monsters she passes by and the monsters slowly dissipate.

King Edward gasped when he saw his twins and felt relief and happiness. Meanwhile, King Roman and Prince Ezekiel couldn’t help but gasp in horror. Fear crept into their soul as they remembered how the twins sent them to the underworld. They gritted their teeth and contemplated whether to keep fighting or flee as far as they could now that they were free from the underworld.

Meanwhile, in the world of Evilandia, Prince Luvian was shocked to see his father suddenly awaken from his deep slumber. He didn’t expect it and couldn’t help but wonder what would happen. All he knew was that only the twins could wake him up and the others.

"We need to get the stones because they already got the heavenly stone that should be mine!" Allamadin roared and suddenly, the entire sky flashed with lightning.

"Yes, Father..." Luvian uttered and frowned. His father had been in the eternal place for too long and yet he couldn’t grasp the heavenly stone. Yet the twins got the heavenly stone in just a short time they were stranded in the eternal place. Somewhat, he doubts his father’s abilities.

As Leena passed by all monsters, they died miserably with just a motion of her hand. And she burned the other monsters to death. Heart-wrenching cries echoed throughout the place. All monsters were horror-stricken and yet they still charged toward Leena. However, they just turned into ashes.

The demons attacked the twins in a rage, but they never had a chance to lay a finger on the twins. Before they can reach the twin, they have already turned into ashes and dissipated in the air.

All the magic users rejoiced at what they witnessed. Finally, their princesses awakened, and they felt a ray of hope. Luna summoned a lot of tiny lights like fireflies and released them towards the magic users. Suddenly, everyone felt so light and regained their energy when the tiny light struck their chest that quickly envelops their body. They couldn’t explain how a tiny light surges inside them and heals their wounds in an instant. They immediately help with the fight as excitement rushed through them because of the newfound hope. Well, they all felt so light, like a feather.

And even Joaquin, Bryle, Aira, and Isagani felt so comfortable. They felt so light while fighting demons and monsters. Though, from time to time, they took glances in the twins’ direction with admiration in their eyes.

Luna and Leena spread their wings, and it creates a powerful wave that causes all the monsters to groan in pain then turn to ashes and dissipated into thin air, leaving only the evilandians who were terror-stricken witnessing the scene.

However, all the evilandians roared and screamed as the sky thundered and its sound echoed loudly. They looked up and saw the evil of all demons slowly making their way toward them.

It's none other than Allamadin himself and his son, Luvian. Along with them are a thousand armies of winged demons.

Luna and Leena look up and meet Allamadin and Luvian’s menacing gaze.
