Chapter 34: Demon Vs Demon

Allamadin's face showed uneasiness about his son's actions as he looked at him furiously.

"WHY DID YOU LIE!?" Luvian said to his father with gritted teeth.

Allamadin was surprised by what his son said. "What do you mean, Luvian?" he says, forehead creased in confusion.

"WHY DID YOU LIE TO ME?!" Luvian shouted at his father once again seething in rage and immediately rushed to attack Allamadin.

Allamadin avoided his son's quick blows in surprise. He does not know what Luvian is spouting.

"YOU KILLED MY MOTHER!" Luvian was enraged and set his father on fire causing Allamadin to bounce away. He quickly put on a defensive stance and knitted his eyebrows. Luvian’s words shocked him and confused how he found out what had happened a long time ago.

“You’re spouting nonsense!” Allamadin denied the accusation.

His words intensified the fury inside Luvian. “I’m going to kill you! An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth!” he yelled and launched an attack. The father and son duo began fighting and Allamadin didn’t hold back anymore and fought his ungrateful son to the death.

At the same time, the twins just stared at the father and son coldly. However, they felt their stomachs squeeze funnily. They shiver and groan in pain. At that instant, their bodies separated, and felt a little dizzy.

"Luna!" "Leena!" they both uttered in surprise. They looked at themselves and let out a sigh.

"Our bodies have merged again..." Luna exclaimed.

"Yes, and I notice that it happens every time we get provoked," Leena said and scrunched up her nose. Luna nodded in agreement.

They turned their gaze to the fight between the father and son, and shook their heads in pity. They could just end them in just a second but they didn’t. Because the fate of Allamadin is in the hands of Luvian and they won’t interfere anymore.

Luna closed her eyes and saw what had happened to Evilandia twenty-five years ago. He understands how Luvian feels now. She shared the information with Leena and her twin was surprised as well.

All this time, it was just a misunderstanding about why war is happening today.

Leena saw the four magic users stop in their tracks and watched the fight between the father and son.

Luna and Leena didn't expect that Luvian was destined to become a Demon King. However, a secret is still hidden in his whole being that only the twins know. Luvian has Moondrousian blood. Before her mother married Allamadin, she met a magic user and got pregnant. The woman pretends to be a magic user and falls in love with a Moondrousian. But she was destined to marry the current prince of Evilandia, Prince Allamadin. She hid her pregnancy and married Allamadin against her will. When she gave birth, Allamadin found out that the child was not his blood because after giving birth to Luvian, he had no scales on his body and only had horns. And the priestess proclaimed that Luvian has Moondrousian blood.

But instead of killing the young Luvian, Allamadin killed his wife instead. He raised Luvian when he learned the child’s ability. All the lies are imprinted on the child's mind. He only uses Luvian for his own benefit. Luvian is only a tool that he could use in the future.

While Allamadin and Luvian were still fighting, Luna and Leena took that opportunity to go to their dying mother. Their father was crying when they arrived.

Luna kneeled in front of her mother and closed her eyes as she put her hand on her mother's stabbed chest. A white flame releases in her hand through the wound. But to her dismay, she didn't fully heal the wound and her mother didn't wake up either. Her forehead knitted together and realized what was going on.

Leena felt nervous why Luna had not healed their mother. She also knelt in front of Luna and held her mother's hand.

"She's poisoned and cursed," Luna said and held her mother's other hand. She sighed, and an idea popped into her mind. She smiled and took the heavenly stone in her palm.

The heavenly stone shined so bright. Luna cast a spell and then just a second, the stone produced a big amount of white magic through her mother's wound. Slowly, the wound healed and her mother gasped for air.

"Mama!" The twins were ecstatic and hugged their mother with smiles. King Edward was relieved and burst into tears in happiness. He really thought he had lost his beloved.

On the other side, Allamadin and Luvian are still exchanging attacks. No one has the upper hand, and both parties were full of pride. Until Allamadin coughed up some blood when Luvian successfully hit him in the stomach. "You are a traitor to our clan, Luvian!" Allamadin exclaimed infuriatingly, grinding his teeth and spewing a mouthful of blood.

Luvian glared at him sharply, "You are the traitor! You have poisoned my mind! Why did you tell lies that the magic users killed my mother?!"

"Because she is a traitor! I loathed people who deceived me! And you are the result of her betrayal to me!!!" Allamadin bellowed angrily.

Luvian was stunned. "What do you mean, Father?"

"Hahaha, I wish I had killed you back then too! Never mind, you'll see them soon..." he said and laughed demonically. "You are not my son, Luvian! You are a bastard and always a bastard! Hahaha!"

Luvian’s jaw dropped, and he clenched his fist, his knuckles turning white. All this time, he was just fooling him. He has no love for him and he just uses him. He loved him as a son would and yet he deceived him, betrayed him, used him, crushed his heart into tiny pieces, and even let his chest fill with anger for the magic users who were really innocent. It turns out that his recognized father has bad intentions. He can't understand himself now because he only feels the fury rising in his heart. There is only one thing stuck in his mind now—to kill the person who killed his mother. No matter what happens he must avenge the death of his mother even at the cost of his life. Because of Allamadin, he didn’t feel the love of a mother that he longed to hug and see from the very beginning.

The beautiful face of his mother flashed before his eyes.

“A bastard like you should perish in this world!” Allamadin said and laughed devilishly. And that’s the last straw for Luvian.

A shockwave formed when Luvian released his anger.

"Aahhh," he shouted at the top of his lungs and caused an earthquake. There were cracks in the ground and beneath it, there was burning lava and hellfire.

Now it feels like everyone is in hell because of the change of scenery.

Everyone couldn't believe it and was sweating profusely because of the extreme heat of the entire place.

Luna and Leena cast a spell. All the demons that were still rolling inside the tornado were gradually disappearing.

"What's going on?!" Ramon and Ezekiel shout in fear and gradually disappear from the face of the world.

All the demons were imprisoned again in the underworld. Demons will never get out of there again.

When all the demons disappeared, the tornadoes also disappeared.

The twins immediately teleported to the magic users. Upon seeing the twins, everyone kneels and bows with respect.

Luna and Leena looked at each other and let out a sigh.

"We won't leave you here. We'll finish what we started. For the whole Moondrous!" Bryle said seriously.

Luna stared at him, and when their gaze met, her heart beat faster. She somewhat misses the feeling of her heart racing because of the man. The last memory of them together flashed in her mind and she couldn’t help but smile warmly at Bryle. The four magic users were stunned because this was the first time they had seen the twins' smiles.

"I remember you. You're the one I talked to at the lake behind the school." Luna said and Bryle gulped. Soon, Bryle smiled broadly at the memory.

"Yes, it's me. I'm glad you still remember me, dear princess." Bryle said happily. But inside he was jumping with joy because he didn't think that the princess would even recognize or remember him.

"We will let you stay. We only have one request... don't die on us." Leena said and stole a glance at Joaquin. The latter was staring at her intensely, though. And Leena felt her cheeks burn.

"Thank you, Princess Luna and Princess Leena..." the four said at the same time.

"What are your names?" Luna asked while looking at Joaquin, Aira, and Isagani.

“I’m Joaquin Patterson.” Joaquin introduces himself with a warm smile. He was staring bluntly at Leena, though.

"Ah," Aira stuttered. She was still in awe of the twins and couldn’t form a word.

"She's Princess Aira from the Aero Kingdom and he is Prince Isagani from the Mermaiden Kingdom." Bryle introduces them instead.

"Thank you for your help, Princess Aira and Prince Isagani," said Leena and Luna sincerely. The two nodded in embarrassment, still starstruck at the two powerful princesses around the world.

They all turned their attention to the two demons, who are still fighting nonstop.

Luvian punched Allamadin, and he was repulsed back causing the ground to crack. They saw the big crack and the burning lava. Allamadin fell there and cried out because of the heat but he immediately recovered, went up, and attacked Luvian with a flaming sword. Luvian dodges with his flaming sword too. They quickly exchanged attacks with each other until Luvian cuts Allamadin’s right horn in half.

Allamadin groaned and couldn't believe that one of his horns had been cut off. He was glaring daggers at Luvian.

"Blasphemy!" he muttered, his nostrils flaring and attacking Luvian with hellfire. But Luvian's body just absorbed the hellfire and his body ignited which startled Allamadin.

Luvian grinned and slowly formed a ball of burning lava. It got bigger and bigger and even though Allamadin felt exhausted, he also made a fireball to counterattack. Allamadin also made the fireball bigger and bigger and he poured all his energy into it. Luvian poured all his anger and energy into the enormous lava powerball.

They release the powerball at the same time toward each other while screaming at the top of their lungs as they give all their energy to their decisive attack.

"Aaahhh!"

A deafening clash of two powerball resonated all over the place.

Luna and Leena immediately created a shield barrier for all of them. The four also helped to make the barrier stronger to protect themselves. They saw how the two powerful attacks collided. And they heard the painful cries of someone suffering.

"You are also a Moondrousian, Luvian. We don't kill our people..." Luna said which surprised him.

Luvian immediately sat up weakly. "W-What do you mean?" He was suddenly nervous.

"Your real father is a Moondrousian," Luna revealed.

The information Luvian heard was like a bomb exploding in his entire system. He couldn’t believe it. He can’t even imagine that he was also a Moondrousian.

"Your name is so beautiful, Aviana. I'm Luca."

That’s where the friendship between the two began. They always meet in the place where they first met. Until something happened to them and Aviana got pregnant. Aviana was scared, so she kept it a secret and never showed herself to Luca again. Luca waited every day but Aviana didn’t show up, which devastated him and got depressed as his heart was torn to pieces.

Aviana married the prince of Evilandia, Allamadin. But after a few months, Aviana's belly grew and everyone was happy knowing they had an expected heir. Until the month of Aviana's birth. Everyone was amazed at the same time confused at the strange child she gave birth to. The child has a human form, but it has a small horn, the symbol of Evilandian. They wonder why the child looks more human-like and has no scaly skin like them all. If not for its horn, they wouldn’t have called him the prince of Evilandia. But the priestess immediately found out that the child had Moondrousian blood. Allamadin immediately got angry and strangled Aviana, his nostrils flaring in rage. "How dare you fool me, Aviana!" He turned his gaze to the baby and pointed the sword at him. "Don't! Please don't kill Luvian! Don't kill my child! Just kill me instead! Please!" cried Aviana and hugged the child tightly to her chest. She won’t let them kill her child. He’s the only treasure that reminds her of Luca.

"Keep her away from the child!" Allamadin commands the soldiers with a darkened expression. "Noooooo! My son!" Aviana wailed as they took the baby away from her hold. The baby cries loudly.

Allamadin was about to behead the child when dark energy came out from the baby. Monsters came out and attacked them. Everyone was shocked at the sudden happening, including Allamadin. When they killed all the monsters, Allamadin immediately approached the baby. "You… you are the one I will use to rule the whole world! Hahaha!" Allamadin immediately approached Aviana, who was still crying and frightened. He only felt anger with Aviana because of the betrayal. His mind clouded in rage and couldn’t think rationally, so he stabbed Aviana multiple times in front of everyone. Seeing Aviana in a weak state and on the verge of dying still didn’t satisfy his bloodthirst and continued stabbing the poor Aviana to death without an ounce of mercy.

Luna immediately cast out the hologram and saw Luvian sobbing painfully and screaming repeatedly until he drained all his energy. She felt sorry for him because he didn't even see his mother.
