Chapter 40: Magicus Land Part 2

A few minutes later, my eyes stopped glowing and gave Alyssa a faint smile. She tenses up and looks at me expectantly.

“Alyssa, I know you still have a lot of questions about your identity and why you became a half-snake.” She nodded at me nervously. “I know my twin said I’m the only one who can answer your past. Yes, I see your past, how it all started...”

Her eyes watered. I smiled as I wiped her tears and said, “Your mother fell in love with a half-snake, just as you are with a snake as hair minus the snake-like eyes that turned a living being into a stone. He is Megadron, the prince of Palladin Castle. Allamadin cursed the prince when he came here. Allamadin is a powerful demon, but he pretended to be human and stumbled into this place.”

While swaying around, her dress is back to the way it was, and it was glowing in the night. Now, she’s more like a fairy descending from heaven.

It’s night here in Magicus Land and it’s a beautiful paradise. The place is full of fireflies and twinkles with different colors. The colorful trees also glow magically.

“Every night, the trees and plants glow beautifully, and then a million fireflies come out,” said Furry happily.

“Wow!” The entire group mumbled in awe when Furry touched the plants and they suddenly glimmered more brightly. A million fireflies are flying everywhere and they look amazing!

Furry’s face instantly flushed in embarrassment. “Because I was so stubborn, I violated my mother and father’s order to never enter the forbidden door. I didn’t know that it was a portal, but I couldn’t find my way back, so I was trapped in a mortal world for three years. My curiosity leads me to my doom. If it wasn’t for Luna, I wonder if I could ever get out of there.” She said shyly.

I know what Furry means. Although she has power, her weakness is the metal itself; since she transformed into a rabbit, her ability was limited and because of lack of spiritual energy she can’t transform back either. “Hey! Furry! Wait!”

We all flew towards the palace with Furry on the lead. The squad didn’t know that Furry was a princess and lived in the castle.

Furry arrived before us. We landed in the wide courtyard of the palace. A lot of guards immediately surrounded us warily.

Seeing Furry with us, they froze in shock and stood rooted in their feet for a few seconds. Suddenly, they became excited and paid respect to Furry. Immediately, a guard ran to inform the King of our arrival.

“Guys, follow me!” Furry said inexplicably excited; and rushed into the palace. We immediately followed while admiring the entire palace. Several guards also followed us and upon entering, there were also many guards lined up on the side.

Sharp gasps instantly filled the hall when they saw Furry and immediately paid respect with excitement. Furry just smiled, but I can tell that she was tense. I think it’s because she’s been gone for too long.

A few moments later, we entered a vast room. The throne room. Two majestic figures sat in the center of the big platform—the King and Queen of the Palace.

Seeing this, we all hold back our laughter. Furry is so cute, like a fluffy kitten.

“It really won’t happen again, Furry! Alas! I don’t know what I’m going to do with you!” the Queen let out an exhausted sigh.

The Queen looked at us and smiled warmly. We all greeted her with a smile.

Suddenly, a woman and a man arrived and mightily walked toward us. Their eyes widened when they saw Furry.

Furry smiled and hugged them. “Big Sister! Big Brother!”

But all of a sudden, Furry grunted when the two smacked her head. “Ow!”

“We were so worried about you! We’ve been looking everywhere to the ends of the world just to find you! And we’ve even blamed the Blood Land! You naughty kid!”

“I’m sorry, big sister, big brother! Huhuhu, I didn’t mean to enter the portal room! Who knows that inside the forbidden room is actually a portal?”

After their little reunion, Furry introduced us all to her family. They welcomed us warmly.
