Connor’s chest heaved, and he leaned back, nearly passing out from the shock. 

Sitting beside Brielle, Dustin couldn’t help but chuckle at her audacity. Was a rookie bluffing a pro? That took some serious guts. 

Brielle’s move wasn’t unheard of in Texas Hold’em, but it rarely paid off, especially in a no–limit game like this. However, her early show of careful play, folding hand after hand, had convinced everyone that she couldn’t afford to lose.
