I can hear the slow beats of her heart that scares me. She had saved me from that bullet which can possibly killed me.

"Where is the healer!" I shouted inside the clinic.

An old lady makes her way. She asked what happened and I said that she was shot by silver bullet. She told me to stay outside the room because she needs space to do her work but I refused to obey and stay in my mate side.

"This is bad, the silver bullet has poison inside, a wolfsbane.” The Healer.

"Do something, I can't lose her." I said to her.

She's concentrating in getting the bullet out of Katharina's shoulder. "I will need to give her some of your blood my King, it will help her to heal faster and kill the poison inside of her.” She said.

"Just do anything just to save my mate." I said.

I lay beside her and the healer started to get my blood and transferred to Kath.

“Zeus, we caught her.’ Tyler said using the link.

'Yes, Her and you will be surprised if you know who she is.’ Tyler said.

“Okay, lock her in the dungeon. I will face that son of a bitch later.’

“Okay, how's Kath?" Tyler.

'I still don't know, but the healer is getting blood from me right now. The bullet is silver and has poison inside that's make her weak and slow her healing process." I said looking into my mate. “Okay, I will take care of this then I will tell the Queen what happened and check you after. Tyler said before cutting the link.

"She's okay now, but she needs to rest. I will bring her to the recovery room and you can stay there my King. I don't know when she will wake but she's safe now from the silver and poison.” The healer "Thank you.” I said and I follow her to Katharina's room.

She cleans her and her wounds and put new clean clothes before she leaves us alone.

My wolf is whimpering inside of me. He wants to go out and lick our mate but I said no to him. I told him that she needs to rest.

I will kill that girl who tried to kill me and my mate. I will skin her alive for doing this to her.

She saves me, I owe my life to her. I look into her beautiful face. Her perfect kissable lips. She looks like an angel sleeping in this hospital bed. I lean forward and kiss her. I know, even if I didn't admit it, I already love this girl, I already love my mate.

I hope she wakes up before her birthday. I want to give her my gift. I want to see her smile again with me and with her family.

I texted her father a while ago and told I told them what happened. He said that he would like to see the one who hurt his daughter and he wants to know what is Kath's situation.

I just say yes to him since he was her father. I don't want them to worry about their daughter, specially she is living with me.

After one day, his father and brother visited her but she's still unconscious. The healer told us that her body is still in the healing process and adjusting from the blood I gave her. She is recovering but still she's sleeping.

"Where is the rogue who try to kill my daughter?" Alpha Ramus

"The rogue was locked down in dungeon.” I said.

"Can I kill her?" His brother Sam ask.

"No. As of now, Tyler is talking to that rogue for some questions. We would like to know who's behind the attack." I explain.

"My daughter suffered a lot. I blame her for the death of my mate. I hurt her, not only physically but emotionally.” Ramis said while looking into my mate.

'Zeus! The rogue kill herself. We found her lifeless body now." Tyler.

“How can she do that; her hands were chained.’ I don't know but something wasn't right.

'I don't know either, but I will search her for the clue. I think this rogue was killed not suicide.’ He said before I block him.

"The rogue we've caught was already dead. My beta informed me just a while ago. He said that the rogue kill herself but we don't believe in that act.” I said to his brother and father.

"I will help for the investigation, as of now, I want my daughter safety first." Ramus.

"No! You will not take my mate away from me and that's final.” I said to him. He can't say no to the king.

"I didn't forget that you are my King, but if anything happened to her, you will be the one responsible for it." He said.

"King Zeus, can we stay here for the day. I want to look after my sister." Sam

"Sure, you can. I will let someone give a room for you and your father.” I said.

I look into Katharina's face. I want to hear her voice again. The way she's getting jealous to Candice, the way I kiss her and hold her in my arms. This Alpha Rogue will surely pay for what he has done to my beautiful mate. I will kill him and every single rogue he's with.

I sit beside her bed and hold her hand. Sammuel and Alpha Ramus already leave us and rest in their rooms. I touch her face that really fits to my hands. The sound of her breath, her heartbeat that makes me lose control. I miss her. I don't know that this is the feeling of having a mate. A girl that is destined to be with you for the rest of my life.
