Chapter 34 Octavius Get Out

Valentine Winters P.O.V

The room door busted open making me push Lucifer away from me on reflex. He fell down on the floor hissing in pain before scowling.

He and I both turned our heads to the other side only to find a very timid looking Japanese lady which I’m guessing is the housekeeper. My breathing was still ragged from what just happen.

I tried to remember what had gone wrong.

My eyes widen in shock.

How could I have said something like that ? I’ve never even had sex before. I’m still an untouched virgin.

Hell, he was my genuine first kiss.

I calmed my breathing down and looked over at her.

Her small eyes went wide and I could see her face turning red by the second.

“Sorry, I should’ve knocked a couple more times before I barged in. I’m kinda new at this job.” She said looking elsewhere scratching the back of her neck.

Lucifer stood up, dusting off his pants with his hands and straightened his shirt before walking over to her stiffly. My wolf was already on high alert wanting to grab him further away from another female.

Her possessiveness kept growing on each step that he was taking towards her.

“What do you want ?” He asked her in a straightforward serious tone.

“I want her.” Another voice cut in.

My eyes immediately landed on my dads figure that approached the room. My eyes instantaneously welling up with tears of how much happiness I was feeling that finally, I was gonna be saved.

My dad told the girl that she wasn’t needed anymore and she walked out from the room in quick steps.

Sobs hysterically escaped my mouth as I attempted to run towards him. I was blocked by a tall figure. I tried to go around him but it was useless before he grabbed me with my hips and wrapped his right arm around me.

“Daddy.” I cried out struggling to get away from his grip, wriggling my best.

“Release her now.” He boomed with his alpha voice, his eyes turned charcoal black showing his wolf’s protectiveness for his kin; his daughter.

“She’s mine.” Lucifer growled.

“You have no experience fighting with a wolf unloaded.” My dad stated, fur already sprouting out from his skin.

“You’re not taking her away from me.” He snarled gripping me tighter against him.

My dads wolf growled out ferociously.

I could see it was his wolf that has already fully taken over. He paced left and right, “If I attack you, I’ll create war between the packs!” He groaned.

“I have full authority on her than you. She doesn’t love you. Give her back to me now.” He commanded, claws elongating from his fingers.

I could hear Lucifer’s heart beating so fast as he took in the words of my dad. His chest weaved up and down as he breathed in and out hard.

His eyes moved and connected with mines, before his pink lips started moving.

“Me or him ?” He asked.

I was frozen in the spot.

My eyes were stuck on his as he waited for my answer impatiently and so was my dad.

“Me or him ?” He repeated a little louder tightening his hold on me making me wince.

“H-him.” I whispered.

His eyes held betrayal as I spoke that word. He was no more glaring or staring at me. His grip on me loosened before he took a couple of steps away from me.

Shaking his head slowly in disbelief while his eyes showed betrayal. The moment he took a step away from me, I felt my heart break into millions of pieces.

My hands instinctively reached to stop him without thinking but he put his hands up before shaking his head for me to don’t.

“I will never interfere in your pathetic life no matter if you’re dead.” He whispered.

My breath was held in my throat as those hurtful words spilled out from those lips.

“N-no..” I cried before my father wasted no more time in dragging me away from him, back into his car and on our way back home.

I stood under the hot water spraying above my head in the shower that flowed all the down.

Once I was back home yesterday, everyone hugged me. My mom was so worried, I could see the dark circles around her eyes and bags from lack of sleep. This happens every time she tends to worry about something.

I felt numb.

I was contented that I was back home but something in me felt lost. I felt lost and I wanted to be found again.

I closed my eyes, and all I could ever see was his beautiful electrifying blue eyes that captivated me. The same eyes that was filled with betrayal and hate once again. My heart sores in pain. Tears welled up in my eyes.

What do I do ? I’m home now.

I’m safe.

I had escaped from him.

I was saved by my dad.

‘He’s our mate.’ My wolf whimpered.

Hearing this only made it ten times worse for me as tears flowed down like waterfalls. My knees bucked underneath me as I sat down on the floor, no longer having the strength to even stand.

What have I done ? I’ve abandoned him. I’ve abandoned my mate.

Lucifer Zades P.O.V

The moment that word left her mouth, I was broken. She chose her dad over me. I’m her fucking mate.

She was supposed to be with me.

She betrayed me!

Everything I’ve sacrificed and it’s for nothing ?

I pulled on my hair frustrated. I said I wouldn’t interfere in her life anymore even if it meant death. Yet, I wanted nothing more than to bring her back now. I wanted her with me right this instant.

‘You let her go!’ My wolf blamed.

“She chose him over me.” I said.

‘You’ve made a wrong choice in letting her go.’ He stated.

‘You don’t get it, she’s in heat. Here she’s safe with us. There, the pack is surrounded with males waiting for their turn with her. Soon, she’s gonna be writhing in pain screaming out for us to ease her.’ He told.

“What do you want me to do ? Go back for her ?” I enquired.

‘Yes!’ He exclaimed.

“No.” I shook my head.

‘She needs us.’ He pleaded.

“Stop pestering, it’s not like she loves us.” I declared.

‘Nor do you love her.’ He sneered.

Valentine Winters P.O.V

I kept thrashing around on my bed as heat starts spreading around my body. Every part of me was being sensitive.

I felt so weak, fragile and feeble.

My wolf kept howling for her mate, she was feeling most of the lost and pain. She was on heat. It made sense to her reaction with Lucifer.

Gosh, even thinking about him made my body burn all over again. I whimpered as more heat was spreading and it has just been the second day Ive been away from him.

Yet,puzzled to why I miss him. He has hurt me so much that I should be grateful to be here.

I’m confused. Why is this happening to me ?

“Oww” I whimpered as I felt like hot needles poking around my abdomen. I curled into a ball, begging for the pain to go away.

I want to feel free, even after I’m out of his grasp I still don’t feel free. I feel like my heart and soul had been broken into two worlds.

I bit my lip and looked out the window that was across the room. The full moon was shinning brightly, staring down upon me.

My dad ordered me to be in the room so no males will look for me. Only my mom, maid and female friends are allowed to visit me.

I so need my guy best friends. I love them so much, there are the true friends that I will give my life for.

Can I just call them ? Dad doesn’t really have to know and it’s just them. I know they will never take advantage of me.

I called the maid up and asked her to call them. She protested at first but when I begged she said okay.

I heard steps coming up after a while.

The door knob twirled and in came Octavius. I sat up on my bed while holding my aching stomach. He closed the door behind him.

“Valentine.” He said and walked over to me in long strides before sitting on the bed and giving me a warm hug.

“I’m fine” I assured before wrapping my arms around him. It felt so good to be seeing him. He still didn’t let go of me and I chuckled a bit.

“Where’s Zachary ?” I questioned. “He has some errands to attend.” he answered near my ear and let go of me.

“You really have lost weight you know ? You should eat more. Are you hungry ? Do you want anything to eat ? You do know I can cook right ?” He continued and I smiled before shaking my head.

“It’s okay, maybe I can try out for modelling.” I beamed trying to make the mood more cheerful.

“You and your modelling.” He rolled his eyes at me and I smacked his head.

“Jealous much ?” I grinned.

“Please, I’m hotter than you.” He scoffed.

I gaped at him “I am groot” I witticism.

“Kidding, for a guy I am” He winked.

“So what happened ?” He enquired.

“I really don’t want to talk about it.” I frowned looking down.

“Did he hurt you ?” I can hear a little growl escaping his lips as he asked me this question.

I didn’t answer him as I just keep staring at the blanket taking over my interest.

I saw him clenching and unclenching his jaw before standing up.

“What kind of sick mate does that!” He growled, obviously infuriated.

“If only you were my mate, I would’ve taken care of you like a princess.” He blurted out.

He placed his forefinger under my chin making me look up into his green emerald eyes.

“But I’m still glad you’re part of my life as my best friend.” He smiled and I returned a smile of my own.

“Why are you locked up in your room ?” He questioned raising an eyebrow at me.

“Well-“ I started.

“Ow.” I whimpered as the pain hit me and heat spread throughout my frame.

“What’s wrong ?” Octavius sat beside me, concerned.

I just kept whimpering more.

“Oh no, you shouldn’t have summoned me here at this time.” He groaned.

His emerald eyes flickering black as he tried to fight over his wolf.

“You’re heat. It’s too much” he grunted before trying to scurry away from me.

“Get out.” I tried to say.

Suddenly his eyes stayed pitch black and I shivered in dread from the lust that showed in it.

He was breathing heavily.
