Valentine Winters P.O.V

I unbuttoned his pants open and was about to slide it down to a reasonable length, when suddenly I was stopped. He grabbed my hands into his before pulling it up, pinning them above my head.

My wolf gasped as she quickly gazed up into his eyes. His once jet black eyes that belonged to Hunter, was now replaced back to Lucifer’s.

“Playtimes over, I’m back.”

Those words passed by his lips straight forward and stern. My wolf whimpered giving me back control immediately as I resurfaced.

I bet my black brown eyes once again held fear in them as memories flashed over me like a hurricane.

“Please don’t look at me like that.” He begged.

“I know you fear me, a-and its my fault.” He continued. He released my hands and rolled over of me, sitting on the bed beside me turning away before finally standing up to his full height, his back towards me.

He buttoned back up his pants.

“I-I” He tried.

He ran his fingers over his hair in a frustrated manner and hung his head down.

“I’m sorry.” He sighed.

I was beyond shocked.

Shocked may even be an understatement from what I was feeling right now. I sat up, my breathing was calmed. Looking at him dumbfounded and utterly astonished.

Did I really hear that from him?

He turned around slowly and faced me, his lips were turned to a slight frown. He neared me and on reflex I backed away making him frown even further from my action.

It wasn’t my fault, even I didn’t know why I did that. His eyes were getting watery as he closed them and opened them back looking at my frame.

He whimpered, bending his knees towards the ground and finally sat down.

He sighed sadly before covering his face with his hands while hanging his head back down.

Lucifer Zades P.O.V

It’s all my fault.

She hates me.

She fucking hates me.

She fears me.

I’m a monster; barbarian.

The fear in her eyes were as evident as the night sky cloudless and a clear picture taken.

I was a fool to think it was her mistake and I know that now.

I didn’t know why tears were brimming in my eyes, maybe it was cause I was so emotional.

I pulled his hands down away from covering his perfect features making him look perplexed. I could feel it in the bond of how regretful he was feeling and I couldn’t bear him to feel this way.

I placed my right hand over his cheek and caressed it, making a small smile placed onto my lips to assure him it’s okay.

He pulled me in onto his lap, making me straddle his hips and hugged me, burying his face in the crook of my neck inhaling my scent.

He pulled away and kissed my left cheek leaving a wet tingling sensation that caused me to blush.

“I’m so sorry.” He apologised, sincerely.

Genuineness unambiguous in his eyes.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and played with the short hairs at the end of it.

“I-its o-okay.” I stuttered.

“No it’s not.” He said before placing a kiss on my nose.

He kissed the side of my lips slowly, moving closer to my full lips. He kept pecking my lips, and kissing them, savouring the moment. It felt too magical.

“Val.” He kissed my lips.

“I” A peck.

“Am” Another peck.

“In” He pulled my bottom lip.

“Love.” He kissed my mark making me shiver in pleasure.

“With” he nibbled my left earlobe making me close my eyes, tightening his hold on my waist.

“You” He finished.

Giving me a lingering kiss on my lips.

Just then, the words actually registered in my brain.
