Chapter 9 Deadly Wolfsbane Silver

She screamed.

The bullet went straight digging into her waist.

I quickly ran to her, carrying her up bridal style. She was bleeding terribly and if I knew any better, the bullets are made of Aconite also known as wolfsbane. They’re very deadly to werewolves, they will only live up to two days at most.

“Put her back down, I want to see her suffer and die!” My dad commanded. I glared at him and bolted outside the room ignoring his calls for me to return. I went up inside my room pass coding that only I could enter my own room and no one else could have access.

I placed her on my bed. Her clothes were drenched with her blood. Even my shirts got stained from carrying her.

I carried her back straight to my washroom and placed her in the tub with me behind her. I tried to pull out her shirt but she pulled it back down whimpering and shaking her head ‘no’.

“Val, you’re clothes are drenched and your body is covered with your blood, let me wash you up. I’ve seen you naked before, haven’t I.” I said.

I lifted her shirt and pulled the boxer of her. She covered her private area by bending front a little and with her hands.

I just shook my head rolling my eyes.

I turned the shower on, washing her back all the way down to her hips.

I was just about to wash her fronts until she stopped me. “I can wash here by myself.” She told as I just nodded this time.

She whimpered as her eyes were tearing up washing herself. I quickly went pulling out a towel and went to my closet picking out new clean shirt and boxer of mine for her. I took out a bandage that I had in my drawer and went to her.

I couldn’t bare to see her suffer. I placed all the thing on the tiles. I tried to examine her waist but she flinched and moved away. “I’m trying to help you, please let me.” I said.

She stopped and sighed as I examined her wound. I can’t see the bullet so I bet that’s it’s deep in her. I aided her or so I was trying my best. I’m not a doctor nor a physician.

I wiped her waist that got shot with a towel drenched in hot water but she was non-stop bleeding. I can’t do anything about it. I wrapped the bandage around her waist and dressed her up before carrying her as she was too weak and placed her on my bed.

She turned to the opposite side from where I was. Her back was to me. I heard her sob. I went beside her and snaked my arms around her waist pulling her onto me. I leaned near her ear.

“Please don’t cry.” I begged.

“It hurts.” She sobbed. “I’m going to die”.

“Don’t say that!” I growled making her look at me.

“But I am going to aren’t I, besides you want that too, you said so yourself, at least you’ll get your wish.” She said then looked away.

“Please, I’m sorry. I just got pissed, I-I wasn’t on my right mind.” I apologised but I don’t think she believed me.

I sighed.

I was thankful that my dad didn’t shoot her right on her head, I don’t think I would have lived by then. I closed by eyes and went to sleep with her in my arms.

I woke up seeing that she was still in my arms, she was paler. “Valentine ?” I called but she didn’t wake up.

“Valentine.” I said again shaking her a little and still no signs of stirring was shown.

“Valentine!” I yelled shaking her more.

I panicked.

“Oh my god, please wake up.”

Why isn’t she answering me ? I touched her pulse, but it wasn’t normal. It was slowing down.

“Val please, don’t leave me.” I said. “Please don’t leave me.“.

I know that she still have 36 hours till her death and I calmed at that but her symptoms were advancing.

What could I do ?I couldn’t even think of anything. I can’t bare to watch her die. Not her too.

There was only one thing that I could think of yet it was insane but that would be the only option I have to cure her.

I must get help from a pack doctor from a werewolves pack. A werewolf hunter asking help from werewolves.

It’s repulsive but I have no other choice.

I need to sneak her out of here. But how ?

The men listen to my dad, but they’re loyal to me.
