Roy felt himself suddenly moving out of the darkness he was previously in. How that was happening was beyond him, but he could feel some form of weight being lifted from off him and his wolf was no longer dormant.

He remembered seeing that filthy smirk on Donald's face after he was injected with wolfsbane before he blacked out. He swore to himself that he would rip Donald's head off the next time they meet.

How long has he been out? Was he still on the road or did those bastards drop his body somewhere else? Was his uncle still with that coward, Hugh, or has he left already? Did Elijah get the call he made through the mind link? All these thoughts were running through Roy's mind when suddenly, his body was overwhelmed with undescribable pleasure, causing his wolf to get excited. His nose was soon filled with his mate's scent. This made him wonder how she was feeling since he hadn't returned home. The thought of his mate made his body tingle with excitement, motivating him to get away from this place that was void of anything.

His eyelids slowly fluttered open and there she was, his goddess, his heart and soul. His mate was on top of him, with her eyes closed and her head arched backwards as she rode him. She tried to push him off her, but she was too weak to even move her hands, then suddenly, she was consumed by darkness.
