I woke up the next morning, finding myself alone in the trailer.

He probably went to work early again, I thought, crawling out of my sleeping bag and started to get ready for the day.

I could’ve slept on some more, but why would I want to sleep in on a gorgeous day like today?

Once I was dressed in blue jean shorts and a black collared t-shirt, I quickly made my bed and had a bowl of Froot Loops, before I put up my hair into a short ponytail and brushed my teeth.

Joe stepped out of the elevator onto the first floor with a clipboard and a pen in his hands.

He had forgotten to count the relics, to make cure they were all there in the weapon relics room

If I had remembered, then I would’ve gotten Vanessa to do it for me, he thought after unlocking the door and stepping into the narrow space.

The room looked pretty much the same when he last left it with Vanessa; The only difference was that the shelves were now more full.

Joe got right down to work and began going through the list he was given, from top to bottom.

“The Sliver Pumpkin, check-” Joe checked off the box beside the relic name.

“-The Bronze Mushroom, check...“.

He made his way down the list, until he stopped at a relic name that sounded familiar

Where did I hear that name from?Thought Joe as he glanced up from his clipboard and looked at the relic’s empty spot on the shelf, before looking back down again.

Wait, an empty space?

Joe took a second look at where the bracelet was supposed to be but only a layer of dust was replacing it.

That can’t be right.

Did Vanessa put it somewhere else?

Joe scanned each row on the long shelves in front and behind him, but it was nowhere to be found.

Well this is just great. I might have to lie to my boss until I can find some evidence that-.

Out of the corner of his right eye, Joe noticed that there was a security camera in the top left corner of the room that interrupted his thoughts.

Maybe that might have the answer?

Joe quickly checked the relic list to make sure that the rest were there and hurried back down to his computer, where he logged back in and opened up the Security Camera file.

From there, he opened up the Weapon Relic room Camera file and clicked on the last recording it took (which was yesterday) and pressed play on the video, to see if it was possible that Vanessa might have taken the bracelet.
