As Chantelle kept speaking in her native tongue, the ends of her darkened hair started changing to an ugly grey, slowly creeping up towards her head. It was no longer lush and full of sheen but brittle and crinkled with age.

Caphy didn’t notice the change, he just looked at her transfixed like a dog on heat, his erection almost protruding from the front of his jeans.

Between Chantelle chanting, Caphy so drugged with lust it was almost immodest, George’s loud announcement and Gabby’s appearance, Gabe was on his own.

Looking over at Gabby she was being pushed roughly foward on her shoulders by George’s own Beta, simpering every time she took a step. Not thinking about her ailments, Gabe stood and grabbed Caphy in a choke hold and although difficult and heart wrenching, rendered him asleep.

As Gabe watched speechless, Caphy rose on his own accord and was now nuzzling Chantelle’s neck and inhaling her sent, rubbing himself up against her hip and thigh. Openly showing his want for this vixon, the evil one.

“My mate”, Gabby breathed softly. My mate, she mind linked to Gabe as he remained on the ground.

Gabby could see Gabe trying to move, his face pained with strain like he was being tortured from the inside out, his voice coming out in cries.

Mate, was all she heard over and over as two voices came into her thoughts.

Gabby reje ..., that was all Gabe could say. His mind link and voice were rendered silent.

“Because he is under her spell ..." the Beta said breaking her conversation and thoughts “... Alpha Deep Water shall witness you being claimed alongside everyone else. Beta chuckled then shoved one last time.

Tyler and Tristan, Beth and Batholomew gathered near. They were each holding a goblet, their partners hands in the other smiling happily.

As his heart began beating erratically, Devon started howling in pain.

Release me, let me out now, growling and gouging in Gabe’s mind, both wolf and man were helpless.

Gabby could just smell the slight aroma of coffee and thickened cream permeate her senses, calming her raging thoughts and easing her pained body.

“I Abby Brook accept you George Orpheus Blackstone of ...", George tried to say.

“I Gabby Moon Rivers reject you George Orpheus Blackstone of Paxon pack ...” watching in horror as George morphed before her eyes into a raging wolf.

"I accept you Gabrielle Quentin Quade of Deep Water pack", she finished quickly before the huge Beta covered her mouth with his hand, preventing her from uttering another sound.

George threw his enormous wolf’s head from side to side, snapping his jowls as spittle flew all over his guests. They laughed and cheered joyously, their lack of understanding frightening Gabby even more.

George’s eyes changed from brown to a lethal black, then he lowered his head and glared at Gabe who was kneeling helplessly on the ground.

Howling ferociously, George then started to place one heavy paw in front of the other and stalked towards his prey.

I Gabrielle Quentin Quade accept you Gabby Moon Rivers. Till my last breath, if I should die, I will always love you, he thought in unison with Devon.

Then fight, Gabby thought back. Watching in horror as George closed the distance.

Chantelle was now shaking all over, her body almost convulsing where she stood. Her once trim body, stretching the deep hues of the velvet dress as her body aged some more.

When she heard Gabby speaking those vows her spell was being broken.

Caphy had his arms wrapped around Chantelle still but ceased gyrating, separating his hips from her dampened gown. His seed darkening his own soiled jeans.

“What the fuck!” he screeched loudly, taking a step back. “You ugly mutha fucka!” he directed at Chantelle when he pushed her aside, looking down and feeling shame and embarrassment in an instant. “And you let me hump her leg?” he questioned his Alpha.

Gabrielle looked up and saw Geroge’s wolf approaching, unable to move from the spot where his knees were planted on the ground.

Gabby was feeling anger, she did not want to see the man she loved die in front of her eyes. Biting down hard on the Beta's hand with her tiny teeth she ran on instinct towards her mate.

Her feet were now bleeding but she only had eyes for Gabrielle as she continued running from the stony path onto the lush grass.

“I Gabby Moon Rivers accept you Gabrielle Quentin Quade, I want to be your Luna”, she said out aloud as tears poured down her cheeks, running with such fervor, her dress was billowing behind her like a half crescent moon.

Goodness Goddess but you are magnificent, Gabe breathed watching Gabby as she came closer, almost catching up to George’s wolf as it prowled closer.

LOVE was what they both heard at the same time.

George turned his head and snapped viciously. Gabby saw her own reflection in its black eyes but kept running, almost throwing herself the last few steps so she came between man and beast.

Gabe wanted to say that he accepted Gabby but he collapsed on the ground.

"No!" she yelled wrapping her arms around his still body.
