It was Tuesday morning, and Luca was in his office behind his desk with Stefano when a pack member watching his mate told him, "Alpha, this is Giovanni Conte", he said. Luca replied, "Yes, Giovanni, what can l help you with?" Giovanni answers, "Alpha, I'm on patrol to keep your mate safe, and I'm letting you know that your mate stayed home all day," he reported to his Alpha. Luca asks, "Okay, thanks for letting me know. Is someone else with you?" he asks. Giovanni answered, "Yes, Alpha, Lorenzo Fiore and Delta, Tommaso Marchetti, Alpha." He thanks them and tells them to keep up their excellent work, watching over his mate. They responded, "It's an honour to be able to serve our Alpha by protecting our future Luna." They all returned to their Alpha. Luca dismisses them through the link after thanking them all again. They both settled back down to continue discussing more pack matters and the protection details about his mate. They both agreed with having the protection details rotate every three hours to help relieve the other pack members with other duties to attend to and the new training schedules for Giovanni, Lorenzo, and Tommaso. Luca then looks at the time on his watch. It's time to go down for dinner. When everyone is seated at the table, Luca serves himself, and then it's Stefano's turn, and then it's Santos's. The pack members then serve themselves. Once everybody had eaten and dinner was over, Luca informed everyone about what Giovanni had told him about his mate and what she had done today plus also informed them of the new protection details and that they would be rotate every three hours to help relieve the other pack members that have other duties to attend to as well as the new training schedules for Giovanni, Lorenzo and Tommaso to start first thing tomorrow morning at nine to eleven and then from four to six in the evening before dinner. When that was said, Luca dismissed them and went to see his mate. Luca shifted outside behind a bush after removing his clothes and putting them into a pile on the ground. He went to his mate's house, but when he got there, the lights were off. She had already gone to bed. Rosa must have been exhausted from going out today, Luca thought. Before returning home, he ensured everything was okay around the house's perimeter, checking if the doors and windows were locked and secured outside. Wednesday morning came, and Luca woke up to start the day as usual. The new training schedules start in ninety minutes, so everyone gets ready and has breakfast. When they are all done eating their food, everyone heads outside to start the training session. Luca sees Giovanni, Lorenzo and Tommaso talking to two of the three Head Trainers, the twins, Riccardo and Dominic Vittori. Luca asks them, "Is everything okay?" he asked. Giovanni answers him, "Yes, Alpha, it's all good. I discussed with the others what techniques they would be using today. I thought that maybe we should be doing offensive and defensive in both human and wolf forms. While they are training, Lorenzo, Tommaso, and I will watch over your mate and switch over for this afternoon's training session. Is that okay with you, Alpha?" Giovanni asks him. Luca replies, "Yes, sounds good to me" he replied. He adds, "Let me know what my mate gets up to today, especially if she's going to be exploring again?" he asks them. Lorenzo replies, "No problem, Alpha" Luca dismissed himself after that, returned to his office, and informed Constantino and Stefano about his mate and what would happen. He then starts on a pile of paperwork before him as he waits for today's news on his mate's whereabouts. He doesn't have to wait long for the news on his mate as Giovanni links up with him. Giovanni links his Alpha. "Alpha, your mate went exploring again. She went out the back door but turned left; she is using pink ribbons this time for marking her way around the area", he said. Luca replies, "Okay, thanks for letting me know. Let me know where she ends up, please?" Giovanni answers him, "Will do, Alpha." They both broke off the link. Luca returned to the paperwork he was currently going over. About two hours later, Giovanni returns to his Alpha to report on his mate's whereabouts after heading out to explore again. He told me that she had reached the end of a track that opened up to an enormously sizeable outdoor setting area, including extra-large covered patio areas with built-in barbecue areas underneath each of them with enough tables and chairs to seat every pack member. There were also a lot of substantial fire pits scattered throughout the region, with even more seating around them. It would be perfect to use for outside activities throughout the year. Everything needed a good scrubbing to return it to how it would have been years ago. Giovanni then told me that she was heading back home. She was looking excited about what she had found. Luca thanked the three of them for protecting their future, Luna. They replied, "Not to worry about it because it's their job to protect him, his mate and the pack's members." Luca thanked them again, broke the link, and returned to work. It was near the time of the afternoon training session. So, he packed up and joined the training. The two Head Trainers, Riccardo and Dominic Vittori, were going over what they would do with the pack. Two hours later, the head trainer released the members from training once it was over, and everyone went to shower and change. Dinner came out thirty minutes later. Everyone was hungry after training for two hours. When everyone finished their dinner, they went their separate ways, but not until they thanked the kitchen staff for the beautiful food they had prepared. A few hours later, everyone went their separate ways to do their own thing and settle down for the night. Luca checked on his mate like the previous nights and ensured that everything was okay around the house's perimeter, checking the doors and windows locked and secured from the outside. When satisfied with everything, he returned home, got ready for bed and slowly drifted off to sleep; he couldn't wait to find out what she had planned for tomorrow from Giovanni.
