Chapter 14 

Jenny had been spoiled since she was little. Her family was well to be, so she was always wayward. 

Hearing her father’s words, she was aggrieved. “Dad! It’s no big deal for you, right? Why did you yell at me?” 

“Do you know what you are talking about? You just work there as an employee! How could you ask me to invest in your company?!” 

Jenny lowered her voice, “I told you about the situation in our company before…” 

Both Kevin and Mickey fixed their eyes on Jenny, making her a bit embarrassed. So she retorted, “Dad, what do you mean? It’s just a small amount of money for us. Why can’t you invest?!” 

Jenny’s father, on the other end of the line, was pissed off. “Do you know many projects in our company were suspended today? It’s not a small amount for us now!” 

“What? How… How could it be possible? Isn’t everything going smoothly?” 

“I think it’s not a big problem, but we have difficulty in fund flow recently. You should spend less money, you know? Let’s talk about that when I fix those projects.”

The man named Oscar Timbers was a singer who was a tall hunk. 

He looked down at Jenny, “Where is Giselle?” 

Jenny blinked and replied, “She is busy now. You guys come with me to the shooting area.” 

Jenny wanted to take them away. When they finished shooting, she could take the credit away from Giselle. 

Maybe she could manage the two people in place of Giselle. 

When she stole all of Giselle’s power and resources… it would be a simple thing to drive her out of the company. 

Jenny was plotting in her mind, but Oscar responded in a cold tone, “Thank you, but I’m waiting for her here.”
