Chapter 32 

Upon hearing Tyler’s expression of satisfaction, Jenny’s face turned green. 

However, she hadn’t had the chance to react before other colleagues came over. 

They excitedly asked, “Is it really that delicious?” 

“Mr. Baker is an expert. If he says it’s good, then it must be delicious!” 

Just the aroma itself is already so tempting. I didn’t expect the taste to be even better?” 

“I really want to try it.” 

Giselle chuckled softly. She knew how good Hymes‘ cooking was. When she shared with Tyler just now, she was trying to take the opportunity to erase the sarcasm coming from Jenny. 

Jenny could talk about anything else, but why did she constantly ridicule Hymes cooking?

He licked his lips and said, “It’s a pity that it’s been so long since I’ve had food that suits my palate so well… The ingredients are so fresh and of such high quality that they’re even more delicious!” 

The steamed vegetables were not heavily seasoned, yet they still showcased the freshness of the ingredients. 

It proved that Hymes‘ selection of ingredients naturally had the best flavor. 

“Your husband is very talented. He not only cooks delicious food but also selects high–quality materials… He is definitely worthy of being a chef!” 

Under Tyler’s consistent praise, Giselle also felt a sense of pride. Her eyes shimmered with stars. “I asked him if he had plans to become a chef… Burhe said he only wants to cook for me.” 

“Oh my! Giselle, your husband is so sweet!” 

“Oh, dear. This is love!” 

“Why don’t I have such a husband? I also want a sweet and hot husband!” 

Everyone expressed their admiration. When Jenny noticed that nobody cared about her, her heart was filled with wrath. Jenny could only glare at Giselle before storming off. 

Giselle caught sight of Jenny’s angry expression and smiled. Her plan had been successful, and the food totally shut Jenny

Upon seeing Hymes reply, Giselle inexplicably felt her cheeks burning. 

Could her man be any more tempting? 

Those words were so genuine, yet they also made her heart race. If he wanted to be a player, countless women would probably fall for him. 

Giselle waited until the afternoon, but the post–production team hadn’t sent her the video. 

According to the schedule, the Internet celebrities under her management needed to update their short videos at least three times a week, in order to maintain a steady content output. 

She had to go to the post–production department and hastily asked. “Has my video been edited yet… Why are you here?”

Giselle closed his eyes, suppressing the anger rising within her. “When can you finish mine? We need to release today’s video by 6 this afternoon.” 

“I should be able to finish it on time. We still have over an hour. I’ll get right on it!”

“Oh!” Jenny suddenly spoke up, “He can’t help with your video yet. He hasn’t finished mine yet” 

The post–production editors in the company were divided into different teams, each with their own tasks. 

Currently, both Giselle and Jenny were using the same post–production editor. If Jenny delayed the completion of Giselle’s video, it would affect Giselle’s release plan. 

“Jenny Clarks Giselle became stern and direct. She stared at Jenny and said, “All the release schedules have been arranged in a chart. Your celebrity doesn’t need to release any videos today. Why did you violate the plan?” 

“Yeah, there’s a chart, but my video is also important. It won’t be released till tomorrow, but I need to make sure that there are no problems today.”

Giselle clenched her fists. “You’re being unreasonable!” 

I’m just being honest!” 

Jenny had Mickey behind her back. Even the boss couldn’t do anything about her. So, she treated Giselle particularly arrogantly. 

Even though everyone knew that Giselle was in the right, nobody dared to stand up for her. 

They all knew that if they publicly supported Giselle, they would probably be singled out by Jenny. Nobody wanted to cause themselves unnecessary trouble. 

That was the workplace, where people were stuck at nothing due to their connections with the boss or someone else. 

Actually, Giselle’s job title was one level higher than Jenny’s. 

Jenny’s eyes were full of provocation, confident that Giselle couldn’t do anything to her.
