“No, I was only joking. You keep your money, except for buying those necessities for our life.” 

Hymes smiled. “The car has been bought, and I can send you to work next week after the formalities are completed.” 

“So fast?” 

When Hymes said it would take a while to buy the car, Giselle thought it might be at least several months. Unexpectedly, he had already bought the car. 

“I happened to have time today, so I asked my colleague to help me.” 

“Is the one who delivered me food?” 

Hymes paused and then nodded, “That’s right. It’s him.” 

“He is a nice colleague. Shall we invite him to dinner at home someday?”

Even though the things that happened in the company today made Giselle uneasy, she was only worried but not scared.
