Bailey's pov

When I got home, mom and dad were already waiting for me. Both with scowls on their faces and both with crossed arms to look intimidating.

I lowered my eyes as I stepped in and closed the door.

"I can explain.”

I really couldn't.

Dad's eyes narrowed, his arms crossed. "Then explain Bailey.”

I cringed. Uh oh he used my name. Shit was serious.

"Since when do you need to lie to us to get your way Bailey?" Mom questioned, shaking her head in disappointment.

Dad tried to keep that tough mask on but I could see his resolve cracking little by little as he peers into mom's eyes,

I rolled my eyes yet I couldn't stop the smile on my face. My parents were deeply in love with each other and that love grew day by day. It was the purest of love everyone wish to have one day. A love like no other.

I hope I can find that love one day to. Oddly my mind flashed an image of Kaleb and I bit my tongue. Yeah right, Kaleb of all people settling down for me out of every girl he slept with?

The earth would have to be on the verge of being destroyed before Kaleb ever thinks of anyone other than himself.

Dad who had that tough expression on his face calmed down instantly when mom got on her tippy toes and planted a chaste kiss on his lips.

I crossed my arms, pinched my lips and tried to silently move away from the lovers. Only to have dad's blue eyes pin me down.

I smiled sheepishly.

"Don't think you're off the hook just yet young lady," dad's sharp eyes glared down on me, making me gulp and nod quickly.

"Just don't tell Bash about it. He'd not stop taunting me if he knew." I sighed in defeat.

Bash was my older brother who was off in college on his last year. Being older didn’t mean being mature.

He was practically the definition of the annoying older brother. He was also best friends with Kaleb. The two annoyed me so dang much. Thankfully Bash hasn't been home in a while.

"Come on, relax Blake.” Mom soothed her hand down his arm to try to coax him into listening to her.

Like always, she won. Dad shoulders slumped and he grumble. "Fine. You're grounded for two days, no going to Mia and Kade's place for those two days. Which means no seeing Mira after school hours.”

I nod, kind of peeved that I was grounded but thankful that mom got him to lessen on the punishment.

"Okay dad. "

He nod, and sighed. "Good. Now go upstairs, shower and get ready for school. I'm only giving you ten minutes Bailey, you're already late as it is.”

I nod and turn around to leave before he calls out for me once more.

"And Bailey."

I turn around reluctantly, wincing a bit when he gave me a stern look.

"Never lie to us ever again."

I nod quickly. "Yes dad, I won't."

Once in my room, I strip off the clothes I had worn the previous night and toss them into a laundry hamper. I let out a long sigh and headed for my private bathroom.

Walking over to the lengthy mirror I stared at my reflection in the mirror.

The memories of the party and the events that followed flooded back into my head. My cheeks heated up at the thought of Kaleb. The way he kissed down my body, my lips, his mouth around my nipple, around my-

I shook my head to rid myself of these thoughts.

How had I let myself get into that situation?

I turned on the shower and let the warm water wash over me as I try to rinse away the lingering feeling of his hands and mouth on me.

The hot water did little to ease the emotional turmoil that churned inside me, but at least it soothed the aching between my thighs where I could somehow still feel his presence

"Oh Bailey, what the fuck did you get yourself into?" I grumble, letting the water beat down my back.

The way Kaleb spoke earlier, he had every intention of making me confess it was me last night. I will have to do everything in my power to not fall into his trap. I cannot afford to.

There was a huge chance I could lose my best friend, not only her trust but also my dignity.
