Bailey's pov

Kaleb's brows furrowed in confusion before his eyes dropped to stare at the clothes in Mira’s hands. His body stiffen instantly and Mira squealed.

"Run Bails. Run!" She screeched loudly, running toward the exit. I follow after her, because well, Kaleb looked pretty fucking angry.

"Mira!" Kaleb's loud outburst rages through the entire school.

When we were out, Mira flung the clothes to me. "Split up, you're quicker than me.”

She didn't even give me time to think about it before she head on off to another direction, leaving me in the hallway.

"I don't think you really want me to," He chuckled faintly when my body betrayed me and practically melted into him.

"If you don't let go right now, I'll bite your arm off," I warned, trying to make my voice come out as a hiss.

Kaleb had the nerve to chuckle, clearly not heeding my warning.

"Fine," he said. " I'll let you go,” his lips brush against my ear. " If you promise to not run away from me and talk like an adult."

I scoffed, hiding the shiver that raced up my spine. " Can you even talk like an adult Kaleb? You can't even act like one-

I gasped as his fingers press into my waist pulling me impossibly closer to him. * If you think I can't be adult enough, I'll show you flower."

"Okay," I breathed out, knowing I need to get away from him a little to be sane enough to even speak. " I promise I won't run away, so let me go."

He hummed for a few seconds, pretending to be thinking. Then he lets me go and turned me around.

I avoid his gaze and he chuckled.

"Am I turning you on Bailey?"

I freeze, my eyes sapping up to his. He's smiling like a chesire cat, his grin so wide.

I scoffed, folding my arms across my chest. " You're so full of yourself Kaleb."

His lips tip. " You were full of me last night, I was deep in your soul. I didn't hear you complain then.” I gasped, my face flaming as I try to not make it obvious that his words had left me speechless. Pulling myself together, I acted neutral. I told you, it wasn't me last night. I slept on the couch.” He didn't look convinced and snorted. I sighed and tried to get around him to the door, but he blocked my path, his hand on the door and now he's leaning over me.

I press my back onto the wood, wishing I could melt through. Fuck, I set myself up again.

Kaleb searched my eyes and then asked softly. "Why have you been hiding from me Bailey?"

Was that hurt I heard in his voice? What the hell...

"I'wasn't," I lied, quickly pulling my gaze off his. " We just haven't crossed paths until now."

Kaleb scoffed. " Never took you for a liar flower. You keep surprising me."

"I'm not," I persisted and tried to push him away with my palms on his chest. Huge mistake.

My fingers touching his skin made me gulp, and my eyes met his once more. This time it feels like we are in a trance, unable to move our eyes away from each other.

"Kaleb," I whispered and he closed his eyes, drawing in a huge breath through his nose.

" That's it," He whispered, dipping his head. I could have moved away, or did my best to push him off, but I didn't.

I let his head near mine, tilting it a way so his lips is so close to mine. His eyes peeled open slowly and they drown into mine. I sucked in a breath, unable to resist whatever pull that tugged me to him.

"That's the exact same voice that moaned in my ear last night.” He groaned and slammed his lips on mine.
