Chapter 26 

Kristin realized she was increasingly unable to see through Magnus. 

The Four Oceans Gang disintegrated, Xavier was arrested, and various signs seemed to have no connection with outsiders. 

However, Kristin’s strong sense of intuition seemed to inform her that this series of events was definitely related to Magnus. 

“How did Magnus and Theodore end up having a conflict at tonight’s business networking banquet?” She pondered 

Julia was furious for him as she wondered, “What was the relationship between them?” 

Everything about him made Kristin feel Magnus was full of mystery. 

Thinking of this, she could not help but glance sideways at Magnus. 

“What’s up? Did I get even more handsome?” Magnus joked with a cheeky smile as he turned the steering wheel.

Upon seeing this, Kristin could not hold in her laughter as well. 

Magnus was about to light a cigarette when he suddenly slowed down his car. Two luxury cars had appeared ahead, driving at the same speed.

Magnus sneered. “I’ll go down and take a look. Stay in the car, and don’t get out.”

After experiencing the Four Oceans Gang surrounding them, she blindly trusted Magnus‘ abilities. 

As soon as he got out of the car, Magnus lit the cigarette in his mouth and started puffing away. 

Soon, four to five burly men in black clothing got out of two cars, one after the other. They wore sunglasses late at night as if showing off to others that they were bodyguards. 

One of the leading men approached, “You are Mr. Kramer, right?” 

Magnus asked coldly, “Who sent you?” 

“Mr. Kramer, our leader would like to see you,” the man said, making a gesture of invitation. 

“Leader?” Magnus wondered. He was taken aback. 

He initially thought it was Theodore, but he guessed wrong. 

“I’m not interested in who your leader was. If he has something to say, he should have come by himself. If not, you should let me pass immediately, or else…” Magnus said as his eyes promptly turned cold, revealing a murderous intent. 

These outrageous words made the man frown and become more alert at the same time, 

Intuition told the man that the guy in front of him was very dangerous. 

Chapter 26 

Just then, the door of the Mercedes–Benz opened with a loud “clank,” revealing a pair of long and gorgeous legs. 

This was then followed by the clacking sounds of high heels. 

Magnus directly looked over and saw a woman in a bright red mesh dress slowly approaching 

Upon closer inspection, he noticed the woman had a slender and graceful figure. Her delicate arms were proportionately shaped, and she had a pair of smooth, exquisite legs. 

The woman had her hair in a bun, a pair of pitch black, clear eyes, and soft, full red lips, which made her look incredibly sensual. 

“What an exceptional beauty!” Magnus could not help but exclaim inwardly. 

“Are you Magnus?” The woman’s voice was somewhat cold. 

Magnus did not speak as the cigarette hung in between his lips. He intently observed the other person as if admiring a piece of art. 

The man immediately shouted, “Do you want to die?”

Magnus heard the voice and looked over coldly, saying, “What did you say?” 

The atmosphere suddenly became tense. 

“Jonas, step back,” the woman suddenly ordered. 

“Ms. Caesar!” The man wanted to remind her of something, but seeing the woman’s cold gaze, he immediately closed his mouth and respectfully stepped back. 

“Allow me to introduce myself. I am Scarlett Caesar from the Cerulean Red Sect.” The woman extended a delicate hand. 

Magnus looked at her with great interest but showed no sign of wanting to shake hands. 

This scene made Jonas even more displeased. 

Scarlett’s expression also changed slightly, but she still did not get angry. 

She retracted her hand and said coldly, “Today, I came for a specific matter.” 

“Oh? I don’t think I know you. What brings you here?” Magnus became interested. 

“We have rules in the Cerulean Red Sect; those who dare touch heroin will not be let off easily. Magnus leaned in close to her ear and replied casually, “I admit I did it. So what?”
