Logan and I are running to meet Lana and Mari. Mari mindlinked us they were close to the deep blue hole, on her way back to the packhouse. We are going to meet them just in case, as few rogues were able to enter our territory. Adrian, my future omega aka Head of warriors, and 4 warriors are with us. They decided to come with us by themselves when they learned their future Luna might be in danger, making my wolf and I proud.

When we joined them, they are surrounded by 6 rogues. Mari is on the floor and we can smell her blood and Lana is fighting the rogues protect by a dome. She sends them flying away with just a small movement of her hands but they keep coming back.

"She is so damn hot!" My wolf comments as I stop on my track to look at her, drooling at her.

"I know! We are so lucky!" I reply to him.

Logan growls and wakes me up but before we could attack, Noah and Lina appear and Noah killed them in a few seconds.

“Noah! Why did you kill them all before we asked them why they came!” Lina protests.

“Nobody hurts the people I love! I smell blood and I lost it.” He replies.

" Mari is hurt. She was shot with a poisoned arrow she needs help right away. Let’s take her to the hospital.” Lana says looking shocked.

“Go! I will clean it.” Lina says to Noah.

Noah nods and takes Mari in his arms. He recites something and a portal open in front of him. Lana and he go through it directly. Lina looks at us and says: ” You can go too. I will clean everything.”

Mari will be fine but she needs a lot a rest because of the wolfbane. But she should fully recover in a few days, thank goddess. Asher went to the hospital to check on her but refused to see her or even to let her know that he was worried about her. Now that we know Mari is going to be okay, we have a meeting at my father's office. Logan, Léo, Sage, Clint, Asher, Lana, and Noah are here. Noah and Asher refused to let Lana go alone. You can’t really say no to our future King and Lana refused to come without Asher, and I didn’t have the force to fight her. She still looks shaken by what happened. Asher is trying to understand what Lana and Mari were doing together as they are not friends but my father refocuses the discussion about the rogues and why they came.

“They came for me. And that arrow was for me. Mariana saved me.” Lana says looking at her feet.

“I’m going to kill them!” My wolf says raging.

“They’re already dead!” I comment.

“She is a witch she can resuscitate them and we can kill them again!" I’m not replying to him and shut him out.

“So they are against our future Luna!” Leo growls.

Lana shakes her head: “No, they wanted me because of what I’m. Half-witch/ half-wolf...” While she is saying I can feel her fear rising.

Noah gets up and takes her in his arms: ” I’m here and I will protect you! And I will stay until I know you’re 100% safe here.”

“But what if they were sent by him? What if he knows?” She whispers.

“That’s impossible! Your wolf is dormant and you’re not recognizable.”

“What do you mean by not recognizable? What do you know that we don’t?” My father asks warily.

“This is not Lana’s real appearance. If someone recognizes her and realizes she is still alive, she will be in great danger, so her real appearance is hidden by a powerful spell." Noah explains.

"And why do I learn that only now? We are speaking about my pack safety! You can't hide this information from me!" My father says slapping his hand on his desk.

Noah growls: " Do I have to remind you who you're speaking at?! My main worry is safety and the more people know this about Lana, higher the risk is for the truth to be discovered by the wrong person!"

The discussion didn't finish very well with my father and Noah both angry. We’ve decided to reinforce patrols, in particular where Lana is going but she refused to have bodyguards. We're now in my private playroom with Logan, Clint, and Asher. We are eating junk food while playing a video game... Trying to play as we are all still in shock with the news. Even my wolf is voiceless.

"Did you know it was not her real face?" Clint finishes asking his brother.

Asher sighs:" I have no idea. This revelation is as big for me that it's for you."

"I would like to know why she became so close to Noah suddenly. I mean they are training together but I'm her best friend!" He adds annoyed.

"Welcome to the club! And I'm her mate. Before I was just jealous of you now I have another male turning around her and I can't even beat him!" I comment.

"Noah loves Lina and she is the only one for him. So he's not a competition for you. I'm already not her Gamma, what I will have left if he becomes her best friend." Ashers replies.

"I think you will do a better Gamma than me. You should have your title back." Clint tells him.

"Thank you lil'bro!" Asher says hugging him.

"I'm still the one who decided!" I protest making Logan snorts.

"You have a comment to say?" I ask him.

"Lana has you wrap around her finger! She is our real leader. You can't say no to her!" He says.

"That's not true. I can totally say no to her." I contest.

"You wish!" My wolf mocks me.

"You can speak! You're even worst than me!" I reply back.

"Like you did just earlier when she asks for Asher to be here. As for you Asher, you should stop worrying. First, she wanted you here when Noah was already here so she needed you and secondly, he will have to go back to the castle and you will stay here with her." Logan says.

"You're right!" Asher says nodding his head.

Logan looks at me and asks: "Are you not disturbed by the fact it's not her real appearance. I mean do you find her attractive? Will you find her attractive when you will discover her true self? It will be super weird after having known her other appearance. What if you prefer her fake appearance?”

"I'm not worried. I love her whatever she is looking like. I know I will found her beautiful and sexy in her real appearance. I can't wait to see her, the real her." I reply.

"You're so wrapped around her finger!" Asher teases me and I throw him a pillow.

We are playing for 5 minutes when Lana who is hidden behind a kind of burka, storms in the room.

"What did you do?! I know it's you!" She tells me.

"What?! I didn't do anything. What's wrong?" I ask, worried.

"You broke the spell dumbass!" She screams.

"I... You... Don't...What... Sure... Why... No..." I say.

What’s wrong with me?! Why I'm losing it every time I’m speaking with her!

"Urg!!!!!" She says storming out of the room.

Logan, Asher, and Clint laugh at me.
