Chapter 100

Considering Esther's previous care arrangement during her time at the hospital, Clark requested that the same nursing worker continue to be her caretaker for convenience.

Of course, the main reason was that Clark was worried that if they brought in a servant from the estate, the servant might inadvertently reveal the truth, leading to complications in Esther's recovery.

Felix followed closely behind Esther, looking at her with pitiful and aggrieved eyes, which made others feel sorry for him.

Clark comforted him, saying, “Mr. Felix, once you're feeling better, I'll come to pick you up."

"Grandpaw Clark, you have to take good care of Mommy!"

Felix was deeply worried. What if that wicked woman found

out that his mother had awakened and tried to harm her

again? What should he do to stay by his mother's side openly and protect her? He longed to grow up quickly so that he could protect her.

"Mr. Felix, don't worry. I'll take good care of her," said Clark.

Clark and the caretaker packed up Esther's belongings to leave the hospital.

The mother and son held hands, reluctant to part, and the scene pained Clark's heart.

"Felix, come here," Bradley called Felix with a cold expression.

Felix hesitated for a moment, then reluctantly let go of

Esther's hand. Looking up with his chubby little face, he said, " Mommy, listen to Grandpaw Clark. Eat and sleep well, and I'll see you soon."

"Okay. You have to be good too." There was a hint of inexplicable joy in Esther's voice.

Clark and Bradley knew very well that the current Esther had lost her memories of the past five years, or more accurately, she had falsely constructed the memories of these five years. She found the past five years to be excruciatingly painful, leading her to create a beautiful alternate reality to escape the unbearable and distressing memories from that time. "Mr. Bradley, we're leaving now," said Clark.

As Esther watched Bradley's cold indifference toward her, she grouched inwardly.

Clark drove personally and took Esther to Primus Mansion.

Primus Mansion was the marital home prepared for Esther and Bradley while Thomas was still alive. It was a 1,000-square-meter luxury bungalow with a helipad on the top floor and a nearly 500-square-

meter terrace.

When Clark and the caretaker, Melinda, arrived at Primus Mansion, Melinda was shocked. She had no idea that such a luxurious seaside mansion existed in this prime location.

Primus Mansion boasted stunning views from every angle. The expansive sea stretched out on one side, offering a cool. evening breeze. On the other side, the night skyline dazzled with its shimmering lights. As Esther stepped out of the elevator, an unsettling feeling began to build within her. It reached its peak when her eyes fell upon the enormous wedding photo adorning the living room wall of Primus Mansion.
