Chapter 126

Bradley and Felix entered the kitchen. Esther wanted to help, but Felix pushed her out of the kitchen. "Mommy, Daddy and I are super capable! We'll make sure to wash the dishes really clean!" Esther looked worriedly at Bradley, who coldly said, "I can handle it."

"You can put the plates and utensils directly in the dishwasher. Just clean the pots and stove top," said Esther.

"Okay."

Esther went to the bathroom and checked her phone there. She noticed that her most recent post had already received numerous likes and comments. After casually taking a shower and washing her hair, she changed into comfortable loungewear before heading to the kitchen.

Bradley and Felix had already tidied everything up in the kitchen. Like a little mischief, Felix pretended to yawn as he was afraid that his father would take him and leave. "Mommy, I'm so tired!" Esther reached out and picked up Felix, gently saying, "Let's go take a nap."

"Okay!" Felix let Esther carry him into the master bedroom.

It was Bradley's first time entering the master bedroom of their newlywed home. The bedroom also had Esther and Bradley's wedding photo.

Bradley glanced coldly at the wedding photo and said, "I have something to do. I'll leave first."

Felix glanced at Bradley, then at Esther, and immediately came up with a plan. He pretended to fall asleep in Esther's arms.

Bradley could leave if he wanted to, but Felix was not going anywhere! He wanted to stay by his mother's side.

"Since Felix's asleep, I won't send you off," Esther said softly, looking down at the sleeping Felix. sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ Findɴovel.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

"I'll come to pick him up later," said Bradley.

Esther looked at Bradley's handsome face and warmly said, "Darling, come here for a moment.

Bradley, puzzled, walked up to Esther. She reached out and grabbed his tie, planting a light kiss on the corner of his lips. "Darling, I'm so happy today."

Bradley's gaze fixated on Esther's face, captivated by her delicate and fair skin resembling the finest jade. Her clear and bright eyes seemed to hold the warmth of thick honey.

His heart raced uncontrollably, and in a sudden panic, he hastily retreated.

Esther smiled, observing Bradley's hurried departure before softly patting Felix's back and humming a familiar nursery rhyme.

The doorbell rang.

Bradley, who was just reaching the door, opened it.

Billy was standing outside, wearing a worried expression. "Mr. Warner, let's talk."

Bradley instinctively did not want to disturb Esther and Felix, so he closed the door and led Billy to the winter garden next to the house. "Speak. What's the matter?"

Billy did not bother with pleasantries and went straight to questioning him coldly, "Mr. Warner, I'd like to know which of my two daughters you are going to choose."
