Chapter 245

Clark clutched his chest, feeling intense pain that left him struggling to breathe. He couldn't bear to imagine the heartbreak and regret Bradley must be experiencing at that moment.

Amidst the roaring helicopter blades, they landed at the private hospital owned by the Warner Group.

Bradley stepped off the helicopter with a determined stride, heading straight for the elevator. Clark suppressed his grief and followed closely behind, catching a glimpse of Bradley's veins bulging and his bloodshot eyes filled with a burning flame.

Bradley made his way directly to the laboratory department, rolling up his sleeve to reveal his sinewy arm. He commanded the lab personnel, "Draw my blood."

"Yes, sir," the doctor replied.

Carefully, the doctor drew a tube of blood from Bradley's arm.

"Conduct a paternity DNA test between Felix's blood and mine. Make sure to oversee this test personally," Bradley instructed firmly. Sᴇaʀch Thᴇ FindNøvᴇl.nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

"Yes, Mr. Warner," the doctor acknowledged.

Casually discarding the cotton swab stained with blood into the designated medical waste bin, Bradley exuded a cold and chilling aura. The once elegant and noble man now appeared disheveled and miserable.

His extraordinarily handsome face displayed an unfathomable coldness and gloom. Observing him, the others in the hospital instinctively retreated, fearing his potential outburst.

Only after Bradley left did the whispers and discussions about him fill the hospital corridors.

"Mr. Warner, please shower and change your clothes first. Take care of yourself!"

Bradley stood in the elevator, his cold eyes reflecting Clark's deeply concerned face. He sneered lightly and spoke in a cold voice. "Don't worry. I won't die."

What were a few hours of soaking in seawater compared to what Felix had endured...

The pain in Bradley's heart felt like a knife twisting inside him. Leaning against the elevator wall, he clutched his aching heart. Unreleased sorrow and anguish tormented him.

"Mr. Warner!" Clark called out urgently, reaching out to support Bradley.

Bradley coldly withdrew his hand, his emotionless gaze fixed on Clark's face. "Clark, keep a close eye on Shane. I want him alive!"

"Yes," Clark replied.

Clark had assumed Bradley would visit the hospital ward to find Liliane and inquire about the events from five years ago. Little did he know that after Bradley had his blood drawn, he would take a helicopter back to the Warner estate.

Esther lay in a coma due to a high fever in the manor.

"Mr. Warner, Madam has a fever!" one of the bodyguards informed Bradley, rushing forward. "Should we take her to the hospital?"

"She's worthless. She won't die."

Bradley entered the bedroom and glanced at Esther, who was delirious from the high fever. Her pale and fragile appearance, with damp hair clinging to her face, tugged at his emotions.

Her colorless lips trembled slightly.

"Felix, Felix! Son, my son!"

A burning fire of hatred consumed Bradley's heart. There was no sympathy or mercy left, only an overwhelming desire for vengeance. Ignoring Esther's weakened state, he forcefully grabbed her arm and dragged her toward the showerhead in the bathroom.

He turned on the shower, and the icy water cascaded over Esther's body.

Weakly opening her eyes, Esther finally recognized Bradley standing before her.

In a desperate crawl, she reached out and grabbed the hem of Bradley's pants, pleading," Bradley, I beg you, please go find Felix!"

"Esther Quill..." Bradley leaned down, his face contorted with malice, and he cruelly questioned her, "Feigning amnesia? Pretending to be sick? Acting innocent? With such

exceptional acting skills, it's a shame you didn't vie for the nomination for Best Actress at the Oscars!"
