Chapter 332

Kevin stared blankly at Bradley's cold face, wanting to emphasize that holding Esther's funeral implied acknowledging her death, regardless of Jasper's rights.

"Speak! How did you help that woman escape!?" Bradley roared.

The maid, who was kneeling on the floor, trembled as she looked at Bradley. She had previously been captivated by Bradley's looks and wealth, eager to climb the social ladder, but now she realized the man before her was a demon.

"Bradley!" Kevin endured it for a moment but couldn't help speaking up. "She has a name. Her name is Esther. She... She's not a woman you should insult."

Bradley casually picked up a glass and threw it at Kevin. The glass shattered on the marble floor, shards flying in all directions. One small piece grazed Kevin's face, leaving a bloody cut.

Kevin taunted, "Shut up? It's because I've kept quiet for too long that Esther sought death! Bradley, ask yourself. Is Esther someone to be insulted? What has she done to deserve such treatment from you?" "If it wasn't for Esther, my grandfather wouldn't have had an accident!" Bradley retorted.

Bradley always used this incident to attack Esther, as if doing so would forever condemn her to the cross of guilt.

"She denies what happened in the hospital ward." Kevin pulled at his hair irritably and said coldly, "I don't believe she would do something like that to Grandpa Thomas. She has no motive."

"Yes, she does!" Bradley said firmly.

Kevin laughed mockingly. "Let's assume Esther was afraid that Grandpa Thomas would find. out that the children she was carrying weren't yours, and that's why she took extreme measures. That could be a motive for the crime. But you know very well that Felix is your child. now that Esther carried your children. Tell me, what motive does she have to harm Grandpa. Thomas?"

"Kevin." Bradley stood up and grabbed Kevin's collar, questioning him coldly, "Are you defending Esther now?"

"I'm not defending her. I'm stating the truth. You keep blaming Esther for Grandpa Thomas' death, but the only evidence you have is that one video. However, Esther has denied it all this time. Even if that video were presented in court, she would still deny it. Why can't you consider the possibility that she truly didn't do it?"

"It's impossible!" Bradley quickly denied it. "She refuses to admit to the crime she committed and makes excuses."

Kevin was at a loss for words. He finally understood that it wasn't about Esther's guilt or innocence-it was about whether Bradley believed she was guilty.

Even if she were innocent, he had already judged her in his mind. He wanted her to spend the rest of her life atoning for her supposed sin.

"Bradley, are you happy now that Esther has paid with her life for atonement?" Kevin laughed mockingly. He regretted it.

Esther had committed suicide by jumping into the sea. Whether she was alive or not, he was an accomplice to Bradley.

"Consider this a warning, Kevin. Esther is not dead," Bradley said.

Kevin suddenly laughed, tears streaming down his face, tinged with sadness. "Bradley, you know, I'd rather Esther be dead now than for you to find her, imprison her, and insult her" Bradley punched Kevin's jaw. Kevin didn't fight back but staggered a few steps before. regaining his balance.

"Bradley, from now on, I won't take your side," Kevin said.
