Esther tightly held the phone and glared at Felix. "Felix, didn't you promise me you'd never call him again?"

"But Mommy, Daddy's bullying you..." Felix said, his voice childishly fierce.

"Felix, I'm feeling a little unwell at the moment. Could you be a good boy and let me rest for a while?" Esther asked.

She felt both sour and bitter inside when she heard what Felix said.

'He already knows Bradley's bullying me despite his age. Does Bradley really not know it?' she wondered.
