"What are you doing?" Esther was taken aback as the elderly couple unexpectedly tried to take her in broad daylight.

The couple spoke simultaneously. "Miss, we're truly sorry, but we're just regular parents."

They only wanted their daughter to survive, even if it meant breaking the law.
