"There you are."

"Edward, look at this." Jason handed over an old newspaper five years ago with a group of photos of a charity dinner.

Jason pointed to one, and said, "Look at these two people."

Edward recognized that the man was Arthur, and the woman... was Ruby.

"This is the person who just claimed to be cousin Ruby."

"Is it him?" Edward couldn't help frowning.

"Edward, have you seen that man's watch?" Jason took out the photo as evidence of Bella's infidelity.

Edward compared the photo with Arthur's watch.

"Edward, if you look closely at the woman's hair in the photo, there is a blonde curl pinned down by the man. I guess it is a wig."

The light in the corridor was very dim. Jason took out his cell phone and turned on his flashlight to shine on the photo. The hair of the woman in the photo was indeed blonde.

Since Bella had never dyed her hair, she had always had long black straight hair. However, Ruby's hair was usually a blonde wave.

The answer was obvious!

Although this trick was not complicated, if Edward had been a little more careful, he would not be fooled no matter how alike Ruby and Bella were.

But he was deceived because of anger, trying so hard to find the adulterer who never existed. Maybe it was because he was loving Bella so much. Ruby really grasped his weakness and dared to take risks.

"Edward, it seems that the relationship between Arthur and Ruby is not simple. You should be careful." Jason cautioned.

Edward nodded. His mind was full of Bella and Albie Ye. He couldn't wait to put on his wings and fly to them, asking for their forgiveness.

"Jason, do you think Bella will forgive me?"

"She will." Jason nodded. He was surprised that the president of Long's corporation would be afraid.

"I don't know whether they have returned home?"

As there would be a board meeting the next morning, Edward had to spend a night in the fear of Bella and Albie's safety. He went to the company early in the morning the next day.

When he was in the meeting, Edward received a call from Nanny Gong who was crying.

Later, Edward rushed out of the conference room without even saying a word.

As Bella and Albie did not return all night, so Nanny Gong went to the police early in the morning. During the search and rescue process, the police found two shoes which belonged to an adult and a child respectively and a mobile phone left by the pond of the town. Then the police confirmed that two people were missing.

When Edward arrived, the police were organizing people to pump the water from the pond while searching for them.

Nanny Gong has cried and fainted several times before being sent to her son by the mayor.

Edward, standing on the shore, held Bella's phone and opened it. Albie's lovely face with pure eyes and innocent smiling face immediately appeared on the screen.

"Albie."

Edward felt fainted and his fingers trembled uncontrollably. He had not even heard Albie call him "Dad"...

Is this God's punishment for him? He would like to do anything if he could have Bella and Albie come back safely.

Looking at the people busy searching in the pond, Edward felt his insignificance for the first time in his life. He could do nothing but wait when his loved ones were missing.
