Adina helped Flint walk to the hotel next door to the bar.

Adina's eyes narrowed. She made a sharp turn with the steering wheel, and her car spun around, directly getting in the car's way.

She pushed open the car door and exited the car. Her eyes were fixed on the man sitting in the driver's seat.

It was Earley!

She walked over, step by step while crossing her arms over her chest.

"You want to know why? Get in the car. I'll take you to a place where we can talk at leisure about that."

Adina picked him up by the collar and pushed him hard.

She unlocked her phone and dialed Duke's number, the phone was quickly answered, "Addy, what's up?"

Adina listened to the voice over the phone. It seemed to be the sound of the wind, and there seemed to be the sounds of map navigation on the side. The destination was a desolate place on the outskirts.

She took a deep breath, and asked, "Where are you going now?"

"Addy, I have some things to take care of at work."

"Where is Mel? Is she with you?"
