We awoke the next day, I nuzzled my nose against hers, she smiled and opened her eyes and said "good morning Cole." I pulled her closer to me and said lowly "good morning to you too." I sat up and so did Emerald, she said "what's happening today?" I sighed and said "Nothing that I can think of, except spend time with you. Unless something crops up that is, only time will tell." She got up and out of bed and walked out of the bedroom and headed to the bathroom, a few seconds later I heard the shower water  running, so I headed out to the porch to get some fresh air, it was a gorgeous sunny day, I heard a low growl a few minutes later I chuckled and said "Hello Silver, what's up?" He looked at me like I was insane , which for a wolf is hard to do, but he pulled it off, he said "You haven't seen Kali anywhere have you? By any chance?" I shook my head and said convincingly "Nope, last I remember I spoke to him and left the location of your pack. Why what's happened?" He growled at me and said "I can tell when you're lying Cole, if you've done anything to him I understand why, I mean he tried to kill your brother. I would've done the same, come on I'm not like the other wolves, I don't hurt you or anyone else. All I ask from someone is honesty." I sighed and said "Ok, I killed him, ripped him apart limb from limb and then tore out his heart. He's pretty dead. And I don't know where his remains are before you ask, a friend of mine took care of it." Silver looked shocked and said "Wow, I didn't know you had it in you. Well done. And I didn't want to know about the location of his remains, I never truly liked him anyway, he was too aggressive." I said whilst stretching "You'd be surprised what I'm capable of once I put my mind to it, and I'm not to be underestimated at all. I said to Emerald recently there's not a line I wouldn't cross for her, because I love her, and to my surprise she feels the same way." Silver smiled and said "that's lovely, I'm sure she's quite something if that's how you feel, I'd like to meet her one day, I've always had a soft spot for witches. And I know her blood is unique but I'm not drawn to it like everyone else." I nodded and stepped down and hugged him and said "she is very unique inside and out. I'd let you meet her now but she's in the shower at the moment. Maybe next time. Whenever you're free." He moved back as I stopped hugging him and said "I'm always free, as of today. Not under Kali's command anymore. It'll need a new leader of the pack. Question is who. Not many other stray wolves around here." I looked around and said "I could be your leader, but they'll have to follow a new rule, don't come near the witch , or they'll have to deal with me." Silver nodded excitedly and said "I'd love you to be our leader, we're not a fussy bunch. And I'll tell them about the new rule. Looking forward to it. I'll be back to let you know what they said. This could be the start of something wonderful. Goodbye Cole. And tell Emerald I said hello!" I nodded as he bounded off into the distance, let's hope it is the start of something wonderful.
