In a bleak future NightRacer, an Earth campaign veteran, decides to unlock his erased memories. What he remembers, changes everything. In a bleak future, humanity sterilized Earth, and is considering abandoning other planets lost to a sentient plant called Devil’s Grass. NightRacer, the chief of security of the scarcely populated New Arizona planet (NAZ), is grieving the loss of his wife Julie. When his daughter Hellen gets infected and walks into the grass to feed her addiction, Racer is determined to bring her home, or die trying. In the ruins of the town of Providence, NightRacer finds Greg, a young man who tells him about the City, a virtual reality hosted by the Devil’s Grass. Tempted to find the truth, Racer takes the drugs to enter the virtual world. In the City he finds a virtual copy of his dead wife Julie, who helps him unlock his erased memories. What NightRacer remembers, changes everything.
