Today was a very important day. Today me and Byron won the war of Team Chocolate vs Team Strawberry. Yes!

Today was the day of the ball. The ball of us being introduced as debutantes in the society or you can even say the whole world. The whole palace was busy in the preparations of the ball. All the hyenas were busy preparing plans to impress the Alpha King.

Going around I came across a staircase which I wouldn’t have noticed even after I would have went through it atleast a 100 times a day. Looking around, there was no danger to be seen around. I started climbing. There were many steps on the staircase. Too many to even count. Yes you had the great curiosity of a cat.

I was panting like I was about to die when I reached the hidden destination. The great work of climbing steps brought me to my very sweet fruit. I was on the terrace of the palace, which means I had just made use of a secret staircase which wasn’t allowed to be done. But the great effort was worth it. I could almost see the whole lands from here. The scenery was breathtaking from up here. “You tend to break a lot of rules.” Even the voice almost took my breath away.

Turning around I found Jay standing there, “That’s one of my hobbies.” He started laughing on my honest answer. His laugh was somewhat cute for a Gamma King. “Don’t you have a ball to get ready for?”

“I don’t need a whole day just to convert myself from a human to a barbie doll.” He started chuckling by my retort. Well I have a great teacher( the great Drew). “May I have the pleasure to escort you back to your room milady.” “Yes surely sir, you can.”

He escorts me back to my room. Soon the haunted time of the ball was here. The whole palace was decorated with lights, flowers and plans. Yes plans to impress the Alpha King. And very soon it was time to take my entry in the ball room. My name was announced and doors were opened for my entry.

The second I took my entry my eyes went to the very expensive gowns with extremely deep necks and sparkles everywhere. So much sparking that it was very difficult to keep my eyes open. Snickering could be heard everywhere just on the choice of my very simple gown.

After a while of waiting the royal family entered the great hall. Everyone bows as a symbol of respect for the Alpha King and stands straight when he orders everyone to rise. All the hyenas form a line against the staircase to be chosen by the king. Thinking again? Where in the world was I? In between them. Hah in your dreams.

Here I was at the dinner table enjoying my delicious chocolate pastry along with my great supporters. Suddenly my great supporters had a sudden urge of looking towards me. After observing them, I realized that they weren’t looking towards me, but morelike behind me. Wait is there a ghost who had the decency to make my friends atleast look in my direction in these many years. Well the ghost was too handsome to even remove the large intake of breath.

“May I have the pleasure for the dance Ms. Meredith?”
