(Day 7)

The day started with the revision of the previous day that was the information regarding the trades, imports and exports of the marine and continued with us being practically shown the semantics through a boarding ship. But before we could board it I had a sudden urge to empty my bladder. After unfilling it, I made my way towards the huge royal ship still waiting for me. Such a great honor for a normal human.

“This thing will cost us a fortune.” No this voice definitely didn’t came from me. I even crosschecked it with my inner voice and it confirmed that it wasn’t it as well.

“Yeah we can sell it for billions and live our life the way we want.” Looking around I noticed that the voice came through the cracks of a cabinet near me. I tried to look for the reason because of which the two mystical voices were suddenly turning into billionaires. What? At the end of the day, I was still a human, greed was etched in my blood.

Peeking through the cracks I saw two middle aged bald mens with pulging bellies hovering over something, more like someone who was covered in net. Because of the huge bellies in my way I wasn’t able to see the person. After activating my detective eyes I came to the conclusion that someone was being tied down and the two fools were planning to sell or more like smuggle them.

“But don’t we need to prove it to them that the thing we have is real?” Why in the hell are they pointing at the person as a thing?

“Yes that true lets make the arrangements first because it would be impossible to carry it their all by ourselves.”

As they made their way out I started finding a way in order to make their arrangements I tried to enter in. After searching a lot I wasn’t able to find anything. I thought about making my way back to the ship to ask for help when my eyes landed on the open window. Idiots didn’t even had the decency to close the damn window. And you still weren’t able to see it.

Ignoring my inner voice I invited myself in. Entering inside with a very ninja-style jump.... OK.... I tripped on the window sill and almost broke my nose after face planting on the floor. Gathering my remaining dignity I made my way towards the person. They were seriously thrashing around a lot.

With a lot of effort I was able to remove the damn net and was almost bitten on my hand by a damn mermaid with sharp canines. Wait a damn minute. A MERMAID. “Hey you deep shit just listen to me.” The deep shit was more interested in thrashing around. “WAIT A MINUTE DAMN IT!” And there I got it silence atlast. “I am just trying to fucking remove you out of here. If you want to fucking leave from here shut up and let me work my ass out.” She really looked like her mother scolded her for stealing a toffee from the jar and snatched it back. Were they tears in her eyes. Damn I had some power. You wish dimwit. Lets ignore my inner voice everyone.

With a lot of hardwork by my side I was able to drag her near the window. I had removed the net around her. Now the question was how the hell was I going to transfer her out? Comeon mind! mind? MIND? HAH

While looking around my eyes went on a chair at the far corner of the room. Use that idiot. Oh now you can talk. I didn’t get any answer in return.

Dragging the chair towards the window, I placed it in a way as it was parallel to the window. Dragging the mermaid towards the chair, I almost lifted her to sit on it, but instead she stood on her fins, sat on the chair and jumped out of the window. Seriously?

Without thinking much about my embarrassment I jumped out too and messily landed on my legs this time. She was already swimming in the waters of the sea. But before I could walk back, I felt a pull on my ankle. Turning back I saw her doing some weird actions. Using my very intelligent detective brain I asked, “Do you want food?” And I was met with a very very blank look in reply by her side.

She took my hand and forced me to sit on my knees. Damn even mermaids here were bossy. After noticing, I saw that she actually tied something like a bracelet around my hand. Looking up I saw her smiling at me with her canines on full display.

“What the hell are you doing here?” Turning I saw Byron behind me.

As I turned around again to hide her from his I noticed that she had already disappeared.
