Before I could answer the bitch, I was told to take my entry in the hall by the servant. I wanted to wait for her, but her one look was enough for me to go running for hills. The idiot was out of her damn brain. I entered in without uttering a word.

(Jennifer POV)

The very great mother had me slammed against the wall. “You will not speak a word out there. If you did you will be turned into something worst than last night.” Yes last night I was abused by Satan, her experiment and for the very first time my father.

“I am not afraid of you.” She looked a little shocked by my declaration. But soon the look of triumph overpowered it.

“You are not afraid of me but you are afraid for this.” And with that she held a pendent infront of my face. It was the pendent that my mother had placed in my hands just before she died. It was the only memory I had of hers. Before I could snatch it back.

“Oh no no no. You wouldn’t. You would get the prize only when you do the work. Just remember not one word during the whole competition.” With that she left.

Everyone was ready to start the feuding. I was very sure Jennifer would win as Drew had prepared her very well. But as the time kept on passing I noticed that Jennifer wasn’t participating in any of the topics. Infact she wasn’t even opening her mouth.

All the people present in the hall were anxiously looking towards Jennifer, because just a mere human girl was able to score a place in each and everyone’s heart. The feudal was soon coming to an end. Jennifer still didn’t open her mouth. Drew look tensed.

The last question of the feudal was asked,” What decision will the future Luna Queen make if she has a choice to save between her people and the Alpha King?” The debate starts. Jennifer hasn’t uttered a word yet. After looking closely towards her, she looked a little out of place. At the end of the debate the conclusion was to save the Alpha King because he would be the one leading them. The level had ended.

Everyone was looking towards Daniel as he was about to name the winner. “May I know about your suggestion for the question Ms. Meredith?” Everyone seemed shocked from Daniel’s statement, but turned towards Jennifer in order to hear her opinion.

She looked nervous and was mumbling to herself. Was something bothering her? “I would save the people.” Before anyone could utter another word Catherine’s voice was heard.

“Eventhough you have tendency to speak nonsense Ms. Meredith this is the most nonsensical sentence you would’ve ever spoken. How could you ever think about killing your own King and letting the people be alive?” yes thankyou very much bitch now it looked like the real Jennifer was back. Catherine’s words were enough to fuel a fire inside Jennifer.

“I speak nonsense. Damn you are the one speaking trash here. How could you even think about killing your own people and letting the King live? People’s life is much more important than a King’s life as they are the sole reason why he is a King. A King’s duty is to protect his people and not lead them towards death bed while he lives his life to his fullest. And donot forget Miss.
