(Jennifer POV)

It was not going to be alright. Somehow the news of me going in heat had reached the ears of the King. A new woodhouse was prepared for me far away from the civilization. And the day it was ready I was straight away sent to the location where the woodhouse was situated. From what I saw throughout the journey I knew that being in contact with anyone was merely impossible from that place. During the departure, everyone had wished me a farewell more like sacrificed me away for a war.

I had spent 2 days by now in this woodhouse. It was boring though, as there was only me for my company. On the third day I was too busy watching some kdramas when I felt a slight pain in my stomach. I ignored it as it wasn’t much for me to handle. But after some time the slight pain had turned into huge waves of pain. I was a screaming mess by now. I wasn’t even able to move. A little movement caused a shudder of pain throughout my body. One thing I knew was that it definitely wasn’t going to end well. I was in Daniel’s office submitting my day’s work, when suddenly the atmosphere around us changed. I knew it rightaway that Jennifer had entered her heat faze. By the looks of Daniel’s face, even he had understood it, but he continued his work.

It wasn’t going to be easy for her as it was the Alpha King’s blood running inside her. She wasn’t going to have a normal heat, it would be much more powerful than a Luna’s.

My eyes once again turned towards Daniel. His eyes had turned grey which means he was mindlinking someone. I entered the pack’s link where the link had turned into an utter chaos. I came to know that it was nearly impossible for all the unmated males to control themselves. Even if Jennifer was kept far away from the civilization, the power of her heat rolled across the lands making it merely impossible for the male wolves to control themselves. Hearing the males thoughts Daniel’s hand had formed into a fist from anger. That’s when he stood up and left.

(Jennifer POV)

It was getting uncontrollable for me. The pain was unbearable. Here I was drinking the whole damn filter to ease the pain down, but it wasn’t much help. Giving up I made my way towards the bedroom, when I heard loud bangs on the main door. They kept on increasing, when suddenly the door was ripped from its hinges and a huge grey wolf with black eyes had entered in.
