Chapter Twenty-two: Fight

Nala POV

If there is one thing i can't stand is bullying, is there one thing i learned from living with my mates is to defend the weaks. The one i love i will always protect. Right now I'm bloody, my jaw hurt and i think i dislocated my shoulder. I don't regret what happened, well i do regret not hurting them enough. I look over at the other wolf , the one who hurt the one i love, if it wasn't for my hands being restrained i would probably attack and this time i will kill him. If anything happens to...!!! God i can't even think about someone i lobe being hurt. My eyes are full of hate to him , he look up at me and smirk , i look at him and growl.1

I can hear the guys holding us talking , they said the victim been taken to the hospital, that the attack was brutal the vitcim almost died , going under surgery.

I fight my restrain again, I'm seing red, i want to see blood , his blood. If he thinks he's getting away with it he's wrong.

Being mated to seven alphas got it's advantage, true i am spoiled but I'm also a fighter, a well trained one and above all other I'm a luna, my status gives me dominance. Some are my own and other i took by being mated to a dominant wolf. These stupid human handcuffs can't hold me for too long neither can these guys.

I break the handcuffs and the idiot pales, yeah you better be scared. The guys try to hold me back but one word of me make them stop "freeze".

I don't wait, i jump but a strong hand caught me. I try to yell "let go" "leave me" but the hands don't relent.

I'm pulled back toward a strong chest

"Shushh shushhhh calm down sweety" came Ryland voice.

I still try to fight i scream at him "he hurtttt....he almost killed....let me goooo he’s deaaaad do you hear me YOU ARE DEAD"

Ryland keep hold on me and tell his officers to take him away, he's hiding in a corner away from me. By the time they took him out, Ryland hold me close to him trying to calm me down. I'm still shaking with adrenaline. I fought with my mates and packmate before but it was all play and games we never hurt each other. And i never wanted to kill someone until now.

It was an ambush, it was pure luck that i passed by, the scene i saw made me froze there was blood , and the sadistic laugh of three guys.

They dragged their victim away , to a deserted part, where no one can hear the screams of agony. They almost had the job done, but my wolf was antsy all day, she was driving me crazy i felt like my skin was itching. So i got out i planed on shifting to release some tension. It's how i came to be here, first i saw the blood then i smell it, copper and salt scent mixed with the smell of my beloved.

I never understood how wolves can go on killing rage, but right now it all made sense i wanted to kill and hurt.

I didn't bother changing i jumped right to action, i grabbed the first thing i could find and to my good luck it was a thick tree branch. I took the branch and used it as a baseball bat i hit the first guy right on the head he went flying and hit a tree nearby.

The second guy was alerted to my presence, i try to hit him with my branch but it break on his harm and he jump on top of me, he get a few good hits on me , one on my jaw and another in my stomach, i flip us the other way with m on top of him and land hits to his face , i keep hitting and hitting till i feel someone dragging me off, the third guy is being restrained by the security as i am. Steffan POV

It was a busy day at the hospital, i had some patient follow up, i had two scheduled surgeries.

I can't wait till my break, 1 wanted to call my baby girl and check on her, she's been doing a lot better lately. Being a doctor and seeing my baby hurt and sad was killing me slowly. But thankfully she got over it and started talking to us, she wanted some control on her life, so she stopped eating and talking to us.

I was lost in my thoughts which happens often when I think about the little princess.

My pager was beeping and I could hear my name being called to the ER.

I'm a general surgeon, but I get called if the patient is a wolf. Hoping it's not the latter i go to the ER.

A red cross team is strolling in with a bloody patient, they yell the vitals and the injuries. I start yelling commands and ask for an OR to be ready.

I look at the face of my patient and gasp. It's a wolf i look for lilly, a pack member and a nurse. "Lilly we need pack blood" i say before one of my other nurses scream that we're losing our patient.
