Pleas to the Pleiades

A musician is stranded on Mars, but joined by fellow musicians as he builds a hyperlight thruster with a sapient dragon of the desert who has been experimenting for centuries with human DNA. Jimmie Memnon, a musician born in the Sputnik era, when Presley recorded his first record, is stranded on Mars, and is very nostalgic for Earth’s nature. Khlilia tells legends learned from early Mars explorers, which show that the stories his bass player Osha told about ancient Greek myths and Agamemnon were more accurate than Jimmie Memnon had believed. Together they explore the galaxy.
