“Director, don’t worry. I know what I’m doing. I went through a normal treatment process a few days ago. If she insists on reporting it to the board, I can only take out the relevant evidence to prove my innocence.” 

As a doctor, Elizabeth naturally knew that the patients who came here for treatment had some emotional problems to some extent. She had always been especially tolerant of them. But this patient had gone too far. She even insulted her.

Elizabeth gripped the complaint letter in her hand tightly. Even though she was trembling with anger, she still patiently explained to the director with a good demeanor. 

“Liz. I’ve seen your hard work. But you know that this is a private hospital. Reputation is very important to us. We should put our patients first. If this happens again, I don’t know how to keep your job,” 

The director said tactfully. 

“Alright, I see. Thank you, Director.” Elizabeth gritted her teeth. After a few seconds, she replied helplessly. 

“Well, you can leave now.” 

“Okay.” Elizabeth nodded and walked out with the anonymous letters.. 

When Elizabeth got back to the office and closed the door, the anger that she had tried her best to suppress released. 

Her face was filled with hatred as she flipped through the letters and photos. She felt a wave of anger rising uncontrollably from the bottom of her feet to the top of her head. She wished she could find the mastermind who had secretly framed her to beat him up. 

She had always been serious and responsible about her work. Moreover, she loved her profession and had worked hard for

But now, someone was scheming against her behind her back. If she was really fired because of these false accusations, it would be a stain on her career. 

Who was the mastermind? How could he come up with such a malicious scheme to deal with her? 

She put down the two letters and frowned. And then she thought about this question seriously. 

She was quite popular and was very generous to others. She had been wandering alone for so many years and had hardly made any enemies. Kaida and Katherine might be the only two people who hated her so much and were unwilling to see her doing well. 

However, Katherine’s injuries were a little serious before. She was still recuperating now. After her father collapsed from anger last time, his health had also become worse. Kaida had to take care of both of them. She could not be able to spare so much energy to deal with her.

As Elizabeth spoke, she threw the anonymous letters in her hand onto Andrew’s desk.

“Is this…. my mother?” 

Elizabeth asked in a trembling voice.
