The lights in the front yard were bright.
Under them, the shocked expression on Kaida’s face and her gradually reddening cheeks could be seen clearly.

“No one in the Clarke family welcomes you. My mother and I hate you, and so does my father. Even your biological mother doesn’t want you at all, and no one knows if she is alive or dead.
“You’re an extra piece of trash that no one cares about. How dare you fight me with something you snatched!”
Katherine always shouted crazily like that.
In the past, Elizabeth did not care much about it. She even felt that it was the rage of a nobody for being incompetent and only found it funny.
But this time, Katherine actually said that Elizabeth’s mother might be dead and that Elizabeth’s mother didn’t want Elizabeth anymore.

Katherine’s crazy screams echoed in the front yard.
Elizabeth stood stiff in place, not even daring to look back.
She was afraid.
Elizabeth was afraid that she would see the same horror as Katherine on Andrew’s face.
She was even more afraid that she would see the disappointment on Andrew’s face.

After a long silence, Elizabeth felt as if her heart which had been bathed in warmth was pulled out by someone and sank bit by bit into the darkness.
Elizabeth noticed Katherine’s complacent expression and smiled mockingly before closing her eyes.
Wasn’t the person who couldn’t control his emotions a lunatic?
How ridiculous.
“I see it.”
Andrew’s voice was as cold as ever. He held Elizabeth’s hand and lowered his head to kiss her forehead. “Are you done? Let’s go home.”
Andrew’s kiss was light.
However, it was as if a beam of light shone into Elizabeth’s heart and saved her out of the darkness.
“You… You don’t care about it?”
Katherine did not expect Andrew to still be willing to accept Elizabeth after seeing Elizabeth’s terrible side.
Katherine looked at Andrew, who was about to leave, in great shock. She rushed over and blocked his way, pointing at her neck and shouting. “Elizabeth almost killed me! Why don’t you care?

Andrew turned to look at Elizabeth and smiled.
He rubbed Elizabeth’s head and asked, “What about you? Will you be afraid of me because of my second personality? Will you alienate me and leave me?”
After asking, he answered himself, “You won’t, right? Not only did you not leave me, but you also found a way and tried to

Elizabeth looked at Andrew’s side profile in a daze. Seeing the seriousness in the depths of his eyes and his focused expression, a certain part of her heart melted.

Andrew held Elizabeth’s hand and kissed the back of it.
His kiss softened Elizabeth’s heart.
Even though she showed her brutal side in front of Andrew, Andrew still gave her enough trust.
Since he could accept a different her, she could accept Andrew’s every personality.
Perhaps they would be able to create a happy future.
