“Micah...oh Micah.”
I feel a heavy pressure come down on my face.
“OWWWW!!!! What the hell was that for!!!???”
I open my eyes to be met with my childhood friend and abuser Angelique.
“I kicked you because you wouldn’t wake up idiot!!! Now get up!!! There are hundreds of our dead comrades outside, and you’re fucking sleeping!!!!!”
“Calm down Angie Jesus Christ.” Jake sighs as he enters the room.
“First of all my name is not......” Angelique starts to scream.
“Silence your bickering children.” Our Master’s voice booms.
“It’s no wonder the objective got away since you’re all acting like fools.”
We all bow our heads, well all of us but Jake.
“So what’s next gramps,” Jake asks calmly.
“For now we return home, and will discuss our plan later.”
“Yes Master.“Angelique, Alice, Syaoran, and I mumble.
“Sure thing Gramps.”
We all looked at Jake.
“What?”
“Idiot,” Angelique says as she exits the room.
Enjeru
We all sit around a table waiting for our father. I look around the room, there are 10 of us including me. 9 brothers, and then me the only girl. That’s why they were searching so hard for me. A kingdom cannot function without its queen on top of what I have inside me. I look around and notice everyone, but Kiro looks anxious. We shared small talk, them asking how the trip home was, and if I was feeling okay. But other than that they’ve been silent.
“The last time they saw you was that night. They’re all being a bit careful as not to upset you.” Kiro says in my head.
“Well after being locked up for 50 years my anger has diminished. They’re my brothers anyway you guys are all I’ve ever had.”
“Enjeru . . .”
“Wherever mother is I know she hates me. After all, how could she not? But it’s okay I’ve learned from my mistakes. I won’t trust people that easily again.”
“You can always trust me. I will never turn on you.”
“Your my twin its kinda in the job description,” I sass.
He rolls his eyes as the door opens.
“Welcome back our Queen.”
“Hello, father.”
