Psychopomp

Omnus Mora. All die. Every birth is a condemnation to an end. Every mortal child knows this, yet the gods desperately fled a thousand years ago, leaving them in a world where malice brings terrible death. Murder afflicts the holy city of Byzantium, and for its victims, renders endless torment. Only Psychopomps, an Order trained to extract and guide lost souls, can save and deliver them to the afterlife. Ewain Gregor is a member of this Order who seeks to deliver as many souls as possible for absolution and the promise of the gods' favor.
