The Robotic hero

I fly back, watching the sun finally go down, birds flying around me cars driving on the highway. Flying through the rusted canyons sorting through the sky, finally feeling like I’m free and finally seeing the warm lights of Bill town. “Maurice, look, it’s Ted!” I take my landing as the boys run over to me. “Ted your okay!” “Why ever don’t me, kid?” I say with a chuckle. “What happened to the military, are they still gonna come for us?” Andre asks me. “Probably, but not anytime soon, so don’t worry.” “What are we gonna do if they come back?” “We fight like always!” Maurice says. “He’s right, but I’ll do the fighting, we don’t want them coming back to bill town and potentially destroying the place. “And what about Giovanni?” “Well he can be anywhere now, I may have to for a while to find him, but I’ll stay to fix up things here first!” “That’s sounds like a plan to us!” “Ehhh I can watch from the sidelines while you guys do the fixing.” “Hey, you’re gonna help us, Maurice.” “Alright fine.” We all have a chuckle. “I wanted to thank boys for what you did today. For everything really. You both fought like true soldiers, I couldn’t ask for more from you boys.” “You weren’t too bad yourself, tin can.” “Thanks Maurice. The boys head off home and I look at the moon, the skies were as clear as day and the moon was shining bright. My new mission is kill Giovanni, then I will finally be at peace. The world can be at peace. After a year of fixing and cleaning and helping the town. I got to meet new people, make new friends, learn new things and the towns’ history. Andre and Maurice and the towns people all came together to turn the junkyard into a new home of mine. During this time, Andre and I have been trying to track Giovanni’s whereabouts. “So where did you say he was located?” “There were some reports saying there was suspicious activity near one of Egypt’s sacred temples, but they say only during the night. It could be Giovanni, but who knows.” “I’ll go and investigate, but that means I will have to be gone for a while, alright?” Andre gets a bit sadden. “I know. But you’re kinda of a hero now so it’s kinda like your job, so I understand. But you’ll come back, so I’m not so worried.” “Plus you have me, bud!” “Always Maurice.” “Just be careful out there, alright?” “You have my word, Andre. Hey Maurice, make sure the kid doesn’t go crazy.” Maurice laughs,“ Will do tin can.” “I’ll be back soon.” I fire up my rockets and fly off into the next journey. “See you soon!” The boys yell at me.
