Demonise's POV

They are so stupid. They actually believe what I had just said? Pathetic moron. I laughed mentally. As predicted, playing with everyone is so much fun. Who would have thought that I can manipulate everyone's feelings? Tsk. They are too weak.

I stepped closer to Vorges, who was still staring at me with a quizzical look. My lips twitched and tilt my head to examine his expression. He stepped backward and said, “What are you doing?” I smirked as I saw his face full of confusion. I'm amazed to see the look of doubts on his face. He is hard to convince. Well, let's see that.

Vorges is a man full of curiosity. But his curiosity will lead him to his end. I believe that if you don't keep your curiosity for yourself, there's a possibility that you can't go back from it and it will lead you to go somewhere far and far enough to kill you. I couldn't help but grin secretly. “Yes. Because I don't think you are telling the truth.” Vorges replied I laughed while shaking my head, amused in his answer.

"Why don't you ask what father did to my mother 18 years ago? I believe he didn't tell anyone and kept it a secret for such a long time. Right, father?” I said. King Desmond looked at Vorges.

"She's telling the truth, my son.” he said and Vorges eyes darkened then clenched his fist into a ball while gritting his teeth and glared at the King.

Vorges hissed, and in just a snap, he choked the King. “YOU ARE THE EPITOME OF A CHEATER! MOM DIED BECAUSE OF YOU!" the King gasped for air and successfully pushed Vorges away. Vorges slammed his back into the wall. I just stood there while grinning.

“He is a cheater, Vorges, and a murderer. He killed your mom and he should pay for what he did. Bwahahaha" I whispered into the air and my words traveled into Vorges ears. He clenched his fist into a ball, almost shaking, and attacked his father with so much anger.

"Vorges! Get back to your senses!” the King hissed. But Vorges didn't listen to him. I laughed loudly before vanishing from their sight.

Azrael's POV

It's been an hour since I lay on my bed and yet, I couldn't sleep. My mind keeps thinking about Alex. I groaned and got up from my bed, then walked towards the small fridge and drank cold water. The clock on the wall says it's 11 o'clock in the evening. I need to sleep because all warriors will leave at dawn. But I guess I'll just have to stay awake until our departure.

I darted out my room and walked into the darkness until I reached my office. I twisted the cold metal doorknob and came inside. To my surprise, a silhouette is standing on the window. The glow of the moon is the only light in the room. I quickly turned on the lights and I froze in my position while staring at the girl in awe.

"Alex?! I—lIs that you?” I mumbled incredulously. But as I looked into her eyes, it wasn't two different colors anymore—it's dark and void of emotion. What happened to her? And her hair is now black and long. Is she Alex? My forehead creased in confusion. Did my eyes trick me?

Her lips twitched and walked towards me, never breaking eye contact until she's inches away from me. “Azrael, how dare you betray me?” she uttered with full of venom, and it gave me the creep. Her voice is full of distaste. I swallowed my saliva.

“Alex, I'm sorry. I'm really sorry...” I muster while staring straight in her eyes. It stunned me when she laughed hysterically.

“Sorry? Stupid bastard.” she said, and I couldn't back away when she choked my neck.

"Arckkkkk” I gasped for air, but I never tried to get out of her grip because I deserve to taste her wrath.

“I hate you to the moon and back, Azrael Shepherd!” she murmured and her eyes were jet black. Things were floating in the air and the wind blew furiously. Tears rolled down my face while I kept mumbled my apology.

Someone banging on the door outside while yelling my name. It looks like Alex was preventing everyone from getting in just like before. “A—Alex... I'm so sorry.” I said while staring at her eyes with no emotion.

“I am not Alex!” she said, and my world stopped spinning while staring at her dumbfounded. What? Did I hear it right?

I fell on my knees when she released me and panting. She was glaring daggers at me and I stared at her quizzically. "W—Who are you then?” I asked while still breathing heavily and gasping for air because I felt like my lungs were out of air.

A creepy grin plastered on her lips and said, “You'll die if I tell you.”

My breathing hitched in my throat when a dark aura enveloped her. I almost got suffocated as I felt her enormous power in the entire room. Her lips twitched and whispered, “Do you want to live or die?” I feel goosebumps and shiver. Her words stuck in my mind and keep rewinding. “Azraell/Alphal” Liza and the others were calling my name from outside while still banging the door loudly. I stood up while still gasping for air.

The girl in front of me denied acknowledging herself as Alex and yet they look alike and I am sure that she is Alex, my mate. I couldn't deny the connection I felt towards the girl in front of me. If she is not Alex, then who is she?

In just a snap, Alex grabbed her head while groaning and murmuring something. Was her spirits talking to her?

“Xandra! Val! Willow! Damona!” I called and Alex glared at me. It looks like they were arguing inside her head.

I fall on my knees when my lungs are almost out of air. Tears streamed down my face and I coughed. I closed my eyes while gasping for air. My vision is getting blurry and Alex is still grabbing her head while groaning.

The door busted open, and I heard a loud gasp. "Azrael!" Liza yelled my name.

"Alpha!"

But they also fall on their knees while gasping for air. The wind blew more furiously while all the papers were floating in the air harshly.

What happened to Alex? It looks like someone possessed her. But who?

Everyone groaned and growl then slowly transformed into their wolf form. They were about to attack Alex, but I stopped them.

"Stop! She's my mate and don't you dare touch her!" I growled and let my eyes glow. Everyone backed away while growling and hisses.

Suddenly, Alex stops grabbing her head and glaring daggers at Liza. In just a snap, she was choking Liza

"Alex! Don't!" I said and tried to stop her to help Liza, but I flew away before I could reach them. I groaned when my back hit the wall.

Everyone growled and ready to help Liza, but they also flew away and hit the wall. The wind is too strong and keeps us in our current position.

Liza grunted in pain when Alex slapped her continuously until Liza spit some blood on her mouth. She didn't stop hitting Liza, who can't fight back because Alex is so strong. Liza's body was almost limp and barely stood on her own. Alex still beating the sh*t out of Liza. Everyone stared at Alex in horror. The room filled with our growl and howl.

"ALEX STOP!" I yelled, and she glared daggers at me. Grunting in pain, I walked towards her while still groaning in pain. I felt my nose bleeding as I fought the strong force.

"ALL WHO HAVE WRONGED ME WILL PAY! I WILL KILL ALL OF YOU! BE PREPARED FOR MY WRATH!" She said while the wind blew furiously and all of us stumbled into the floor while groaning. She released Liza's body, and it fell into the floor.

The wind suddenly came back to normal, and my office is all a mess. And Alex is nowhere to be found

Liza was lying on the floor unconscious

"Everyone, go back to your room!” I ordered, and they growled. All of them get out of my office, leaving Liza and I.

I groaned and walked towards Liza, then limply carried her. Her face and body are full of blood and wounds. What did Liza do to Alex before? She was too furious. But something is wrong with her. She is not Alex. Then who is she? But she said, I'll die if she tells me.

What really had happened? This is all my fault.

Lucian's POV

Walking towards the dark alley, I made sure no one saw me. It was too dark anyway, so I doubt someone had followed me. I opened the thick metal door, and all I saw was darkness. Suddenly the lights turned on and a bulk figure greeted me. The Lord of all the beasts. He had shifted into a human form, but he is a big fat man with a long beard covering his whole face. His eyes are so dark and big, but once you stare at it, you'll see your painful death.

"Lucian, welcome back. Any news?" he said in a deep hollow voice. I bowed my head as a sign of respect. He walked towards his throne chair and sat.

"Yes, my Lord. Tomorrow, all warriors will start their journey towards Tibbertan Mountain. Despite what happened to the horses, King Warrick will not postpone their journey.” I said.

"Good. My babies are waiting on the fifth mountain.” A grin plastered on my lips. The beast is on our side and I can already taste our victory. Hahaha.

"We have thousands of warriors in total, my Lord, and I believe we outnumber our enemies.” I cockily said. He grinned widely while brushing his beard with his hand.

"I'm counting on you, Lucian. Bring me the girl, dead or alive.” He said and laughed evilly. I nodded and my lips formed into a thin line.

"Yes, my Lord. I will not disappoint you. I'll make sure you can have the girl during blue moon.” I said and grinned.

“Blue moon. I couldn't wait for that day. The great Lord Invictus will be the most powerful beast in the entire world. The gift of enormous power will be mine forever! Soon, Magic Realm will be under my control! Bwahahaha."

“My lord, may I have the silver sword you promise?”

"Of course, Lucian.” I grinned. He motioned his hand onto the table. “How can I forget the only thing that could kill the chosen one?” He said and laughed evilly. I couldn't help but also laughed with excitement.

Who would have thought that Alex is the chosen one and the child of Leia and Alexander Vermount? That girl managed to hide her powers for years. I know something strange about Alex, even when she was little. And now I know because she is the chosen one. I couldn't wait to bury the silver sword in her chest.

Soon, my Lord Invictus will rule the entire world and I will be his next in command. All werewolves will be looking up to me. Bwahahaha.

My eyes lingered on the shining silver sword wrapped with cloth that was lying on the table. I was breathing heavily and beads of sweat formed on my forehead. I took out the cloth and touched the silver sword, but it burned my hand. A grin plastered on my lips. This sword is my key to have power over everyone. I grabbed a piece of cloth and wrapped the handle of the silver sword, then gripped it in my hands. I couldn't help but laughed wickedly.

"My Lord, the victory is ours! Bwahahaha!" I said, and we both laughed loudly.

I took the sheath and put the silver sword. My hands are itching to use this sword on Alex and to the two creatures that ruined my life. Alexander and Leia will pay for killing my wife and daughter. I'll make sure to send them to their sufferings.

They're going to taste my wrath. Revenge is all I want, and I will have the justice I wanted my entire life. I'll put an end in everything. Whoever gets in my way will die. I will kill their daughter in front of them. I wanted them to feel the pain I felt when they took my family away from me. Killing them wasn't enough, I want them to suffer forever.
