To the Death

DING DING DING!!

And there goes the dinner bell folks.

Bex quickly lunged for my neck with his hands. I dodged his attack, moving to my left as I used my right leg to kick him in the side.

CRACK! Whoops, there goes a few ribs. I thought as he yelped in pain.

He grabbed my leg after it connected with his rib cage and tackled me down to the mat. He was straddling me, attempting to keep me still.

“Wow, this is getting a little personal, Bex.” I mocked a smile.

He raised his left fist and struck toward my face. I moved my head to the side; it misses by an inch. He repeats with his right fist, shooting out faster than a missile. And yet again, he missed as I moved my head to the side.

“You know I kinda pegged you as a bottom, not a top.” I frowned and laughed to myself internally.

He began a rapid assault of punches, trying to strike my face. The crowd was roaring, but I blocked them out and focused on my opponent.

“This is getting boring, Aviry… Just take Bex out already.”

“Let him wear himself down a little.”

“Damn, Bex, I didn’t know you were a chiropractor. My neck is feeling a lot better now. Too bad, I can’t help you out with your teeth.”

“What—” Bex questioned, slightly confused and distracted.

BAM!! I slam my head right into Bex’s mouth.

Fuck, that hurt a little. I wiped away the blood on my forehead, and a white speck fell to the floor.

“Is that a tooth?”

“Yes, Mia, that would be a central incisor as a matter a fact.”

“YOU FUCKING BITCH!!” Bex roared, covering his bloody mouth with his hand. His once light brown eyes were nearly black now, his blonde hair a sweaty, chaotic mess.

I’m actually tired of being called that now.

Bex charged forward, going for my legs. Very predictable. When he was low enough, I shot my leg connecting with his jawline. I quickly threw my fist in a mix of combinations. Each punch made my fist throb with pain, but it was a feeling that made me push forward.

As I shot my right fist out again, Bex caught it. Using his left fist, he punched in my right cheek. I’m not gonna lie; that shit hurt. Twisting my arm out of his grip, I used my back to push myself away.

We broke apart, both of us panting. Bex circled me, looking for an opening.

“Kill that bitch BEX!!” someone in the crowd shouted.

“BEX BEX BEX!!” The crowd chanted in unison. I mean, the guy got in one good hit—big deal.

Bex ran toward my left side, he shot his fist out, and I moved to block it. But it never hit. Bex swiped his right leg out, and I fell to the mat.

Using his left foot, he stomped down on my chest and increased the pressure while I tried to lift him off.

“SUBMIT!!” He growled.

I gave up on pushing him off and began scratching at his bare legs using my fingernails. My breathing was becoming strained.

“SUBMIT!! This will all be over!” He shouted in my face.

I knew I would never give up. So it was either accept my death, which would never happen. Or try to figure my way out of this.

I tried to wriggle free and realized my legs were still accessible. Now, typically when I fight, it’s with a female. So this move wouldn’t be as significant for them. But with him, I knew it would cause extreme discomfort.

“I will never submit to an asshole like you!” I continued clawing and wriggling.

Bex crouched down lower, just as I expected, “Then you will di—” Bex groaned and rolled off of me.

I kneed Bex right between his legs. A direct hit with his little prized possession. I caught my breath, shot up, lifted my right leg, and slammed it down straight into Bex’s stomach. I kicked my left foot into the side of his face.

I bent down and pulled his face back to look at me.

“Right or left, Bex?” I asked.

“Wha-what?” what would be a confused look was bloodied and swollen.

SMACK!!

I slammed my fist into his right eye, full force. I also took this opportunity to break his nose.

CRACK!!

AHHHH!!” Bex hollered. “Please, STOP!!”

I dug my nails into his scalp and made him look at me with his one good eye.

“I’m sorry, did you say stop?” I asked. I can’t stop; my mind is set on his death. A slow and painful death with a detailed list of injuries that Mia helped conjure up.

“P-Please..” He whimpered as a tear fell down his face.

“Ok, next is a broken wrist.”

I slowly reached down to grab my prey’s wrist. “But if I stop…I can’t keep my promise to you,” I whispered in his ear.

CRACK!!

I snapped Bex’s wrist out of place. He screamed in agony, and I was satisfied to hear him suffer. Sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ Find_Nøvel.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

“I’ll ask again. Left or right.” What I’m going to do next is completely brutal. As I’ve said, my murderous mood has taken over. There are no limits to which I won’t do.

“Hurry, Bexley Jensen, I have rent due soon, and I don’t want to be late.” I grabbed his thick throat and squeezed. “Right or left.” I snarled in his face.

“Ri..ri..right.” He gasped out using his left arm to reach for my arm.

I shot my index and middle finger out, striking hard at his right eye. I pulled back and was even more pleased to see the blood that followed. Bex Shrieked, and stilled beneath me, his left arm falling to his side. I wanted more, so I began clawing and beating at his face.

A blur ran past my line of vision and began yelling some instructions. Everything around me was moving in slow motion as I tried to comprehend what was happening. But I couldn’t control my murderous mood. I couldn’t rein in my blood lust.

I was grabbed and ripped away from behind as the crowd booed and threw things onto the stage.

The arms, belonging to the person that was restraining me, walked away to my corner.

“Aviry, calm down. It’s over. Please stop.” My face was being grabbed, and I was forced to look into a familiar set of eyes. Marks eyes, filled with fear and worry.

“It’s not over!! He’s still alive,” I growled. I was thrashing, trying to break free to finish my kill.

“He’s not even moving right now. Aviry. He’s unconscious. Look at him. Focus, breathe, and look at him Aviry.”

I looked over Mark’s shoulder, my rage still seething. I started laughing maniacally at the scene before me.

Bex was indeed lying on the ground. Blood was covering his face and running down his neck. His manager was screaming into the phone, pulling at his hair. Two large men were slowly trying to lift his body onto a makeshift gurney.

“AHHH HA HA HA. Look who’s laughing now, bitch!! HA HA HA HA HA!!” I couldn’t stop laughing. The crowd was yelling and booing.

The announcer was trying to calm the audience while looking back at me with fear in his eyes.

He took in a large gulp. “Ladies and gentlemen, please calm down. Due to Bex’s incapacitation and also the interruption by his manager before the bell was rung. We have decided to announce Aviry Mills, the champion.”

The crowd roared. Boos and explicit language were being used. I was still laughing as I looked upon all the unhappy people. I told them I would take all of their money and that Bex would be in the hospital. Never underestimate me.

“He’s still not dead, Aviry. You know this is going to bother you for a while.”

“I know Mia. Maybe we can sneak into his hospital room. Or we’ll find him at the wrong place, during our time soon.”
