Ethan was terrified.
The driver saw that Ethan was awake. He prepared to stop the car to help his accomplice subdue the two of them. Realizing the situation, Jack found an opportunity to open the car door and throw Ethan out.
White Owl’s voice brought Ethan back to reality.
As he felt waves of fear, Ethan also became worried about Jack. Pale–faced, he looked at White Owl and asked urgently, “Have you seen Jack? Where’s he?”
