Chapter 32 - I learn, You learn, We learn

Lucian

I held Rose in my arms until she fell asleep. Then I gently put her in the bed and covered her with the blanket. She looks so peaceful when she sleeps, like nothing can happen to her.

The doctor came by with the test results. And since everything came out clean, I asked him to do some DNA tests so we find out Rose’s lineage.

To be honest I thought that she was pregnant. And from the little she told me I think that she cannot get pregnant. But I do not care for that.

I am just happy to have her.

I did dream about having kids, and lots of them but you can’t always get what you want.

The only problem is that I think that she also wanted to have kids. I hope she takes the news well.

„Hey there.” Rose said with a groggy voice and a small smile on her lips.

„Hey love.” I said back and kissed her softly on the lips.

„Uhm … Lucian?” Rose said.

I looked at her and smiled.

„I have so many things I need to tell you.” She was starting to feel agitated and her heartbeat increased.

„It’s ok, we have plenty of time.” And I kissed her again. I could tell she started to relax.

Rose

„Hey there.” I said with a smile, but my voice sounded like it wasn’t mine.

„Hey love.” Lucian said and kissed me softly on the lips.

„Uhm … Lucian?” I asked.

He looked at me and smiled.

„I have so many things I need to tell you.” I was starting to feel agitated, because I have no idea how Lucian will react to what I learned about myself.

„It’s ok, we have plenty of time.” Lucian said and kissed me again. This made me feel better, and made me think that whatever happens I still have him beside me.

„The doctor came with the result when you were sleeping. And seems that everything is ok.” I told her.

„Can I talk to him? To the doctor before you tell Lucca to come back?” I asked Lucian.

„Sure, let me go get the doctor. And I will go after Lucca when you tell me it is ok. Although I think he is waiting just outside the door.” He said and kissed me before going out the door to look for the doctor.

I waited for a few minutes before the doctor came in the room. But Lucian was not here. I guess he went outside for some air. I know he has been by my side since we arrived here.

„Hello doctor.” I spoke.

„Hello Miss Rose. My name is Dr. Pop Andrei. I took some blood when you got here and fainted. Hope that is ok, your mate agreed. And the results are that you have nothing wrong, and that you are not pregnant as they suspected. But what I found out is that you have direct lineage with the ancients.” Was his reply. He was professional but I could tell that he was curious about me.

„It is good to know I am ok. I know I am not pregnant. My mother told me that I could not get pregnant. And you are right, I do have direct lineage to the ancients, more precise to the Goddess … she is my mother.” as I was talking to the doctor, I could feel that both Lucian and Lucca were nearby. What I can say about the doctor is that he looked at me with wide eyes and had nothing else to say. He just bowed his head and all I could feel radiating from him is respect and fear.

„But please call me Rose.” He looked confused and then sad.

„Thank you Godde … I mean Rose.” He excused himself and before leaving the room he looked at me like he was talking with his wolf about who I am, he left the room soon after, leaving me alone.

„Can we go to somewhere private and talk?” I asked no one. But I know that they can hear me even with the door closed.

„Sure. We will wait for you to get dressed outside the room.” Lucca said.

I could feel that Lucian was smiling and giddy. He wanted to come inside and rub it in Lucca’s face that he could be close to me, but he didn’t. This man is so good to me, I wonder if I deserve him.

I went into the bathroom and lucky me there is Lucian with a grin on his face and a finger on his lips signalling for me not to talk. He has some clothes for me and kissed me before he left the room in a portal. After I finished with my shower and got dressed.

„Lucca? Where is Lucian?” I asked because I could only see Lucca outside my door.

„He is outside. When did he brought these clothes to you?” Lucca asked with a small smirk on his face.

„Uhm… do you like them?” I asked, concerned that they were too tight and form fitting. I never had skinny jeans and a t-shirt this tight on my body. But I admit that I was looking at myself in the mirror after I got dressed. I am not skinny, I am curvy, I have no thigh-gap and I have only one part of the six-pack.

„We used to do a lot of pranks with his ability to create a portal. Did he tell you?” Lucca started to open up about the things they used to do but that got him a smack on the back of his head from Lucian.

„Submit.” This has gathered some curious pack members. Looking on with shock on their faces. But soon, Alpha Damian came and made the two idiots stop.

^Lucian please stop. Pack members are looking and I don’t think they remember you or know who you are. ^ I hope Lucian agrees.

^Already thinking like a Queen. I love you! ^ Lucian replies, making Lucca and Alpha Damian look at him with questions in their eyes.

In a split-second Lucian was pinned under Kristof and he was yelling now.

„You submit to me great demon. I am an alpha.” Kristof was yelling in his alpha voice. But it was clear that he was laughing in between. Seeing that their alpha is playing with his old friends most of the wolfs got back to what they were doing.

^Lucca, can we go inside now? I am getting cold. ^ I said in his mind-link making him look at me with shock. I was only trying it out, I did not expect it to work since we have not bonded or recognised our it yet.

He got up from Lucian, who was now smirking. And he came to me, holding me in his arms. At first, I was a little scared and frozen. But soon I relax and it felt good, he is warm. Come to think of it, a lot of books and stories say that vampires are cold blooded and that their hearts don’t beat.

„I do like the warmth and the sparks but I hate the stares.” I said to Lucca with my face buried in his chest and my arms around him.

Lucca has his face buried in my hair, with his lips hovering on my neck. This sent shivers down my spine and made me fell hotter and hotter. I guess that is the place he will mark me. And now he is scenting me. Scenting is when they transfer their smell and try to make their mate smell like them so other males know that she is taken.

„One more second …” Lucca said, his breath was warm and it made me feel more aroused.

„You are not getting any soon…” this earned me a growl from and we could hear Lucian laughing and heading inside the pack-house.
