Sanctum of the World

They called it the Realm in Between. A demi-plane that existed just outside of the material realm. A sanctuary for Earth's magically attuned and able creatures. A place where they could live in peace, prosperity, and growth. Here, the magical community created the first college of arcane study, away from the prying eyes of their mundane cousins. Sadly all good things must come to an end. As the more powerful families created a caste system, discord grew among them. The collective dissolved into petty bickering, in-fighting, and eventually war -- as denizens of evil preyed on their weaknesses. Decades ago, The Sanctum nearly shattered in the conflict, cutting those outside of Earth from reaching their homeworld. Follow a curiously powerful Fae in her quest to rebuild what was lost, and maybe make it better than it ever was.
