“It will. But I promise the pain won’t last long. After I’ll do whatever you want to make you feel better.” He teases and I give him an evil grin.

“Oh good I have been wanting my car washed.”

“Come here you!” He flips me on my side and this position feels very familiar.

I lay on my side facing away from Zane. I can’t stop laughing as I wait for him to mark me. Hopefully it's not very painful. I have a high pain tolerance so I’m sure I can handle it.

“Ready love?” He asks and I nod. He gently slides my hair to the side and kisses the back of my neck. It tingles and I shiver under his touch.

I feel his fangs graze my neck and then an excruciating pain hits me. I scream and try to move away but Zane holds me tight against him. I feel his fangs retract and I try to steady my breathing. But the pain shoots through me again and I’m seeing spots. My eyes get heavier and I succumb to the darkness.
