Emily!” Jack exclaimed hugging me.

“Hey Jack. Why are you so happy?” I mumbled as he let me go

“Because Amanda is so amazing. She’s let me mark her!” He said and I smiled and nodded

“That’s good. Do you want some?” I asked cutting an apple

“No! Amanda is asleep now. And I was thinking of taking her out on a date today” Jack said and I nodded

“Okay” I mumbled taking a bite from the Apple

“I’ll be back” Jack said and I nodded as he walked out of the kitchen.

“Dad. Oli told me about this alpha tittle thing on Friday. Do I have to come?” I asked and dad smiled and nodded

I know you really want a mate Emily so I thought why not find you one.” He sighed “I know we just got you back, and I don’t want to send you away but hopefully you will be able to stay with us for longer” dad said and I nodded

“So if I find my mate, do I have to leave? And go with him home? But what about Jack? He has to come with me” I mumbled dad shook his head sitting infront of me.

“Emily, Jack has found his mate. And she’s from this pack. And as he doesn’t have a pack, he has to stay here. With his mate. Don’t worry Emily. Your mate will be able to look after you. If he can’t, I’ll kill him” dad smirked and I nodded

“I don’t like to see people getting killed. Cameron used to do it a lot” I mumbled and dad growled

“Cameron. I have sent people looking for him. Do you know where you were?” He asked and I shook my head

“I don’t know dad. I wasn’t allowed to leave the house. All I know is that it’s surrounded with a forest” I said and dad nodded

“Okay. How about you show me your powers? I want to see every power you have, because I have never seen someone with these amazing powers. And you said, that Cameron always felt stronger when he drank your blood right?” He asked and I nodded

“So is it okay if I take a drop of you blood to taste? And to take a test on it. You’re my daughter Emily, but not my real daughter. I don’t know anything about your parents or which family you were from. I asked cherry if she knew anything but she didn’t.” Dad told me and I nodded

“Cameron said when he takes my blood he can’t stop drinking it” I said and dad nodded

“Don’t worry princess. I’ll call Susan to take a drop of it, and I’ll have cherry with me. I won’t harm you. I promise” dad smiled standing up and I nodded

“Okay.” I mumbled and dad told me to follow him. We went to dad’s office and I sat down on the sofa as dad walked out the room. After a couple of minutes dad came back with an old lady and mom.

“Shall I start alpha?” The old lady asked and dad nodded

“Do you want to do this Emily?” Dad asked and I nodded

“Susan” dad nodded and the old lady, named Susan walked towards me.

“So I’ll only inject this into you and take a little bit of your blood. Okay?” She said showing me an injection.

I lifted my arm up and she injected it in my arm. She pulled it back out with blood inside.

“I’ll just clea-wow” she muttered confused as there was no mark or blood left my arm.

“She’s a fast healer” she smiled

She stood up and gave dad the injection.

“If you just take this alpha. Here. Drink it plain and tell me how you feel” she said pouring it in a small glass.

She handed dad the glass and mom held his hand. Tightly.

Dad closed his eyes and drank it. When he opened his eyes, they were red.

“Jaxon?” Mom called out and he looked at mom.

“William baby. William” he smirked pulling mom closer to him.

“No baby business! And sorry!” Mom shouted putting a shield around him.

Dad smirked and punched the shield, and it broke like glass.

“You can’t run baby” he muttered walking to mom

“What’s wrong with him Susan?” Mom asked completely shocked that dad broke the shield

“It’s because of the blood luna. Alpha is more stronger and his vampire spirit is out” Susan explained and mom nodded as dad pulled her closer to him.

“You smell great” he muttered as the door opened and a guy walked in. I moved towards Susan as he had an injection in his hand.

“It’s not going to work on him. He is too strong” Susan said as mom froze dad but it didn’t work on him.

“Emily. How long does this normal last?” Mom asked looking at me as dad pulled her closer

“I don’t know mom. I’m never in the same room” I whispered as the guy looked at me.

“Okay.” Mom replied putting a shield of ice around dad.

“That should hold him for a while” mom muttered but dad smirked

“No it won’t baby” he smirked walking closer to the shield.

He started punching it and it broke and mom groaned.

“Okay. Everyone leave!” The guy shouted and I nodded slowly

I walked to the door but he shook his head.

“Not you Emily. I need you to be here. I’m your uncle Kyle. Amanda’s dad. Bethany and Susan can you leave?” Kyle said and Susan walked out the door but mom shook her head

“No. You know he could do anything” mom exclaimed and closed the door as dad smirked at her.

“I don’t mind having a little fun” dad mumbled at mom shook her head

“Jaxon? William give control back to Jaxon. Now!” Mom shouted walking closer to dad.

“Not now baby. He never gives me control. Don’t you think I should have some fun?” He smirked and mom kicked him in his privates and he fell to the floor groaning.

“I said no baby business” mom exclaimed and he growled lowly

“I-I made a shield around dad. He can’t break it. Shall I take it off?“I asked and mom shook her head

“No! Just leave him in there, let him calm down. Then we can let him out. Kyle make sure no one enters the office. And Emily, follow me! We have to pick out a nice dress for the party tomorrow!” Mom said holding my hand and I nodded

I followed mom out the room and she dragged me upstairs to my room.

We walked inside to see Oliver looking through my clothes.

“What are you doing Oliver?” Mom asked and he smirked

“I’m find a dress for Emily. You know this is practise for me. So when I find my mate, I can buy her nice things.” He said and mom rolled her eyes walking to the closet and I sat on the bed

“Nice things? Okay I agree. You have amazing taste. Of course. I mean you are my son”mom said dramatically, pulling out a black dress.

“No I was thinking we choose this one” Oli said showing me a blue dress.

“No! She’s my daughter so she’s going to like this black one”

“But mom! What if she doesn’t like it?”

“She will”

“Emily? Which one do you like?” Oli asked me

“I like both” I smiled

“But which do you want to wear tomorrow?” Oli asked and I pointed to the black one.

“I like black more. But I promise to wear the blue one the next day” I quickly stood up and Oli nodded

“I know when I’m not loved” he mumbled walking back to the closet.

“Okay I’ll wear the blue one” I mumbled and he smirked

“I’m only joking Emily. You’re the one who’s going to wear it. You should wear the black one. But I choose your shoes” he said coming out of with red wedges.

“I don’t think I can walk in that” I mumbled looking at the heel.

“Oh. You can try right?” Oliver said as mom walked out the room.

“Okay” I replied sitting on the bed and wearing them

I stood up slowly and was nearly as tall as Oli. And my normal height was 5′6.

“Okay if you walk towards me. But if it hurts take them off and you can wear these” Oli said showing me some red flat shoes.

“Can I just wear that please. I can walk in these, because Cameron used to make me wear them, but I just want to wear those. May I?” I asked and he nodded

“Of course Emily. It’s your choice. And don’t mention Cameron’s name again” he said and I nodded

“Okay” I said and he smiled

“I have to go downstairs and talk to mom. But I may be back later” he kissed my forehead and walked out the room

I took the shoes off and laid on the bed.

I have a feeling we will meet our mate tomorrow Emily Ava said and I nodded

But what is he going to do with a broken girl Ava?
